Juat what the title says. Looking to do either a small grow using a filter and carbon filter. Do the quantum boards do flower and veg? And what are good strains to cut my teeth on?

What size area are you going to use to grow in? That will help determine where to start from there

well thats the thing also i want to do a 2x2 but i also want 63 inches in height. I saw tents that are 32x32x64 but dont want to go above the 135 hlg board.

I am currently running 3 plants under diy EB strips I built using 3,000K diodes. These plants are simply amazing. Running in veg they are dense and tight and squat; just what I want in an indoor grow. And I’ve flowered with these lights before with zero issues. You could go as high as 3,500K as well.
Good easy strains: White Widow, Sour Diesel, Gold Leaf for just a couple. I prefer photos myself.

Negative. Get something like 3000k or 3500k, plenty good seed to harvest.
Are you wanting to stick with the 135 kit due to budgetary constraints? For the $200 you could probably diy a light for the 32"x32". If you could spend about $250 you could diy a project that would be resl nice in a 3x3. Being able to grow in a 3x3 is huge increase in yield potential over 2x2.

I only want to do 2 plants. I dont expect to go bigger than that to be honest.

Go with the 3 X 3 and still grow 2 plants. (@dbrn32 is rolling his eyes haha!)
The extra space gives you more options.

So to do a 32x32 or 3x3 I would need to go bigger than the 135 hlg? Also why do they have 4k and 5k lights are they for more open grows? This is the only part of what Im buying Im not sure on.

Hey guys please share anything you think is worth or not worth spending cash on. Evem fav nutrient brands etc.
I would go with a 3x3. I like mine a lot. I also have a 2x2 and while you could do more than one plant in there I don’t ever see myself doing it. The single plant I have in there right now is not big and still takes up the entire tent.

I have a 3x3x6 growing 2 girls now they have been topped and lst first indoor grow for me seeing now i could go 4 easy if you wanted to the extra room is good to have if i ever figure this out would like one girl to fill the whole tent

I’m using a HLG-135 for th 2x2 and a HLG -300 for the 3x3. The y are working great and the ladies love them.

What about a 2X4 verses the 3X3?
The 3X3 is bigger, but for plant placement and such, does the 3X3 offer a better flowering habitat?
