I’m a first time grower, outside, these are the best photos I can get. Any ideas guys, thanks.
Its hard to tell. Maybe give her a flush for a week. Then re check. You really need a loupe in my opinion and go off she shape not just the colour
Hi, I know they are crap photos… Don’t get into town much, mountain dweller. You say shape too, new grower and no idea what shape to check for. Any advice please, thanks
Once the ball on top starts to hang over. Dont leave it any longer because if the ball falls off the tricombe you lose alot of the thc
Thank you.
You’re looking for clear, cloudy and amber trichomes and make sure you’re looking at the bud and not the sugar leaves. can you pick up a cheap loupe? 30-40x will get the job done. amazon drone drop off?
worst case, show us a pic of the whole bud and how long has it been in flower?
Look to be within the harvest window maybe a week with a flush and they will amber up quite a bit but from what I can see from pictures It’s real close some would say harvest most would go another week at least… always better to go longer than shorter, if she’s been flowering since July your about 11 or 12 weeks in flower and I’m still seeing quite a few white hairs but some strains ripen differently. I’ve had strains with 30-40 percent white hairs and were 30-50 percent amber already, definitely need to invest some more magnification
Thanks, so much more to this than I realized.
Thanks, so much more to this than I realised, plants have been grown totally organically, only food they’ve had is chicken manure. I happy though looking forward to enjoying them.
They look good! definitely consider a bud wash if you haven’t already.
i think you’re about done, too. personally i’d rather chop early than late lol. but also depends a little on the strain. the longer you go and the more amber you get the more couch lock effect.
and also what teffy said… but i’ll be firmer… make sure you bud wash!
I have decided I would, there are bugs and some caterpillars, I check and pick any off about 3 times a day. I am considering baking soda and fresh lemon juice, but, I know peroxide is used mostly. Any advice gladly received.
i’ve seen two ways… two buckets, one with 1 cup hydrogen peroxide to 5 gallons water and then a bucket of plain water and then a second way that adds a bucket of lemon juice and baking soda then the hydrogen peroxide dunk. i’ve done both. not sure i saw a difference, but i did the three bucket for my gross outdoor grow.
So either way I use peroxide. I’ve watched a few videos on washing so hopefully all will be good. Thanks for the advice.
That pic looks just about right some would still wait a bit but ide chop her and if she’s behind the other one they prolly both good then looks about 15 percent amber and all milky that’s right about when I like to chop sometimes I give a little extra
@Teffygreenthumb hi, so I’m ready to harvest… Nervous and excited. I could only get 5. 1peroxide and 4 gallon tubs. I worked out, 1/2 cup to 4 gallons. Maths or chemistry not my forte though. Does that sound about right to you? Thanks
That’s exactly how I wash mine , baking soda and lime/lemon juice. Works well
