Light meter UT383-BT measured Noon outdoor sun, yesterday, mid winter, full sunlight 1000LUXand in the corner of the meter X100. The flower tent is dialed in for 50KLux @25 inches above, same as V1200.
My android Phone app us useless, but the UT meter is fantastic.
Winter lung room (un-heated) drops to mid 50’s. when lights are off.
Night time 30’s outdoors Days 50’s.
I keep one tent on, inverse of second tent (lights for heat).
Lights on, low 70’s.
Lights and fans pulling 800 watts energy transformed into heat.
Good news, I found a young flowering plant that looks like a contender, If I don’t kill her, somehow.
One foot tall, Six nodes, and in flower for top 3-nodes have beautiful bud beginnings.

I seeeee… one tent trading heat with the other. Wow Dave I didn’t know it got as low as 30 there. Memory told me you’re SW coastal… sounds now like PNW. Stay warm buddy! Low 70s sure slows things down and not only molasses.
It’s cold out here on the wet coast! Below freezing now. Expecting more snow. At lights off, my tent drops to 58F, and that’s with a little heater going 24/7 inside the tent! I should put a temp/humidity gauge inside the garage so I know what the lung room is too. I just know I bundle up in 2 jackets when I go out there to puff! But it’s probably in the 40’s.
Usually we have daffodils and tulips coming up by now.

The re-veger experiment was a good learning process but wrong timing of year and most importantly,
@noddykitty1 mentioned my original trim (left 1/3 growing flowers) was leaving too much, and half re-veged into bushes. Kief mining potential, but premium garden space needed for better beauty contenders. I have a couple of months before Kentucky Derby, need to develope good ladies, only.
A second, unplanned re-veging took place after a mechanical dial timer FU and red lighted my night growers. Three plants went into solid re-veg, single bud stretching. So I start the cull process for needed space and new favorites.
You had your paws in everything! I hope you still enjoy gardening when you’re focusing on buds, flowering.
Warmer than really being outside tho! And drier, and no wind! Takes me about 40 minutes to smoke 2 joints, then I come back inside and wrap myself up on the couch in front of the fireplace. Nice and toasty, and toasted!

I am addicted to kief mining, and smoking. Prefer edibles, but need to learn that routine.
It cut into my smoking. Using half the joints I was in the summer. Less willing to go outside, or garage
Bought a vaping pen and cartidges. TOO COLD to roll a joint and fingers don’t work well.
Hmmm pens eh. I have a puff of a friend’s sometimes. I just love joints so much, chopping up, rolling, and smoking flower, damn them pens are potent though.
My problem too! Never really liked bongs or pipes, and I gave away my weed vape pen. I suffer thru the cold, it’s not really that bad if you bundle up.
Besides, my New Year’s resolution was to smoke more weed than I did last year! So far, so good!

Retirement! An old buddy once defined being stoned as “the pleasant passage of time”. I’ve got lots of time on my hands now! And no real responsibilities! And I grew about a pound and a half last year, so I have lots cured and more to harvest in a few weeks, then more again in the summer. And will start some autos for outside soon too, and probably more for inside! Not all for me, gonna do some CBD plants for my niece, she gave me a couple strains that help her, and I’m at the point where I won’t run out and need to buy any from the dispos anymore.
It doesn’t take long to build up enough to not have to buy any. Take a few clones just before you flip, and they will be ready to be flipped about the same time as the originals finish flowering.
Learned to bundle up winter of '83 living in SD. Moved to warmer state, worked well.
