Wanting to make gummy bears and need a good ratio of how much weed to add to a fifth of everclear for the tinture

I use 28g if I have some extra trims I’ll throw that in with. Decarbed at 220* for 30 minutes has never let me down.

When I reduce my tincture down to oil I put a teaspoon of lemon extract in the natural terps help and towards end I add agave necter to help with taste. Are you using a recipe? I have the MB2. Great tool. Mb2 website has lots of great recipes for all occasions.

A fifth of everclear produces 3 cups of tincture. Each cup of tincture is used for a batch which will yield 45-55 tablespoon gummies. About 40 mg a piece.

1 last me 3-5 hours of niceness. You should start with half and then add on after an hour or so. And you’ll want something fatty in your belly for it to really attach and take off.
Lol. The fatty food is never an issue lmao. I have some friends that want me to make them and I enjoy a challenge. How long do you typically let you tinture sit??

I’ve only used the machine to extract though so if your extracting a different way someone else may be better suited to help out? I know @blackthumbbetty makes goodies as well not sure how they extract.
My tincture with the machine is done in 8hrs.

Magical butter machine II look it up it’s a great investment in my opinion.
It’s a gram of bud per oz of alcohol, but I usually just add enough alcohol to cover whatever amount of bud I’m using.

There are 128 ounces in a fifth of everclear. You use over a quarter pound to make edibles? But if you’re pouring just enough to cover the ratio would be way less correct?
Exactly re:less alcohol. Also, means less alcohol to have to evaporate off at the end.

What is yield of oil? Do you let it evaporate natural or heat?
Add a tablespoon of lecithin during the extraction? It will increase uptake of THC and increase apparent potency.
I’ve only used the lecithin in butter not tincture. Should I be adding to tincture as well?
