Tincture on sour gummies

I made a tincture the other day using everclear & 10 grams of gold leaf bud. I washed it 3 times in the same alcohol (12 ounces). I then used an eyedropper to apply it to some sour gummy bears (sugar coated). By applying and waiting until dry and then re applying until I got about 25- 30 drops per bear. Tried just 1 bear this morning, and was pleasantly surprised. I’ve never really had a decent result with edibles, but I think I like it! Seems to effectively work pretty quick (sugar?), but I waited 1 hour to judge. Then I took just 1 hit of some granddaddy purple. Damn, 1 toke and bam, amplified the high nicely. Do you think homemade gummies with all the necessary ingredients are worth the effort, vs soaking sugar coated pre mades?

Another thought, I have about 1 & 1/2 grams of “dab” I made with the BHO method. Can that be diluted with just enough everclear to make it “dropper ready”. Anyone tried that? I would think that would make some STRONG tincture. Any thoughts? Also, I did not de carb the smoke b4 BHO. Do I need to decarb the dab?

Decarb the bud, first?
Wash like drip coffee thru strainer/filter paper?

Yes, decarbed 1st, I have a butter machine which has a tincture setting. 130 degrees for 240 minutes, I ran that cycle 3 times.

Not sure about your method only because I’ve never tried it so can’t weigh in. If it does the trick why not?
I infuse coconut oil and make the actual gummies so I believe you get out what you put into something! So in a nutshell my theory on life in general lol
Here is a recipe if you’d like to try it. Let me know what you think.
RECIPE
2 1/2 tablespoons gelatine bloomed in
1/2 cup water
Melt in metal bowl over pot of simmering water
Add 1/2 stick infused butter (coconut infusion) stir until melted and well incorporated.
Add 1 1/2 cups jelly powder (Jello)
Stir over medium heat in double boiler for six minutes pour into molds.

If you’re not afraid of a little effort the results are awesome.
