Questions about pH perfect

Question from a fellow grower:

I just purchased ph perfect grow/micro/grow. I’m not understanding the
aspect ratio cause the growing cycle and blooming cycle seem to be in
the same order. if i’m using 10L…my ratio would be
40ml/40ml/40ml(grow/micro/bloom)for the grow cycle and it would be
…what…the exact same for the flowering cycle in the same order.

the Ph perfect line is designed to be used in tandum with AN’s other additives so they expect you to add more things as you get into flower rather than adjusting nutes like many other brands. It is a cash grab line meant for hydro users use these 3 products but on week 5 add these 2 and week six add these 4 etc.
You can tailor these products to suit your needs but very few have documented how and since it is relatively new product line many are figuring out what works for them. Most AN customers are willing to pay the bucks for extra’s in theory since I am using same line in DWC I had planned on adjusting ratios to suit my needs screw the directions I will apply similar Ratios as General hydro flora series during flower 1 part grow 2 parts micro 3 parts bloom and adjust as needed based on how my plant responds. I wish I could help you with this but aside from adding what they say or changing nutes for flower little advise to offer

I would also like to add that the Micro needs to be added first,
at least that is how the GH 3 part is to be used. I almost miss
that part since there chart has that as the second ingredient.
I have also read (not sure yet) that Cal-Mag if used should
be added before the GH 3 part.

I use GH for soil ph perfect for my DWC just a test at this point so have ph perfect gh and compost tea all in seprate buckets for dwc still in veg

Would not use any thing else but “PH” perfect nutrients - believe they bring thing’s to a 5.8 range ph

Using them and still do adjust my ph in DWC mind you not RO water but it tries to keep me at 6.2 rather than 5.8 where I’d prefer and yet to determine a good flowering ratio without adding all the high end extras

speak english…what’s the aspect ratio of grow and bloom phase. are they the same(4ml each) on a 3-4 week veg and 10 week bloom(veg/micro/then bloom)

Demanding a member speak english, when they clearly did speak english is not the way to make friends or get more help, lol.

I’m sorry if what he has said was hard to understand, a lot of us don’t know what you don’t know, and it is often hard not to use terminology that is commonplace and easily understood when you have been doing this for awhile.

Any grower, long term or not, it is impossible to know every detail about every new nutrient line that comes out. I’ve said it before and don’t mind saying it again, I am not going to do all the research and learn every new nutrient line out there. And as I have not used pH perfect, I can’t comment about any mixture ratios, however, what the nutrient line recommends, as in their directions, is probably the best way to use their nutrients.

And I agree with Donald, in that just because it claims to have a perfect pH, this doesn’t mean that it always will, or that the pH doesn’t need to be checked and adjusted once in awhile.

I also agree with what he has said, the target pH for hydro is 5.8, and DWC is a type of hydro, known as deep water culture.

And the target pH for soil is 6.5

happy growing,

MacG

Well I clearly did answer your question the answer is they keep the same measurement through entire grow and no one I have met has played with them most follow the prescribed doses which is very simple BUY more additives from the ph perfect line to add during flower[quote=“Donaldj, post:2, topic:3961”]

I also stated I am experimenting with these products that means CAN NOT advise on anything off prescribed doses since I haven’t seen results and don’t wish to give shit advise if you wanted me to explain it more clearly a little respect goes long ways… However figure it out for yourself you baught the shit live with it. Don’t ask me…

Having been using the AN Sensi pH Perfect line I can chime in a little. I started following the feed schedule from the bottle and deviated when I hit the 7th node. It suuggests using 2ml/l for 4th and 5th nodes and then double that to 4ml/l for the 6th node up. What I did was only bump to 3ml/l for node 7 and 8, then increased again to 4ml/l on node 9 on.
I glad I did it this was, was getting slight nute burn at 3ml/l, can only imagine what the burn would have looked like jumping straight to 4ml/l.
Keep in mind also I don’t use other additives that would increase the strength. You can try following the bottle exactly and if seeing nute burn back off the ml/l by 25%.
As far as the pH Perfect aspect of it, it balances my reverse osmosis water down to 5.8/5.9 every time.

lol the three part line Grow Micro Bloom have 4ml p/ltr as a dose and I dialed them down to about 2ml second week 3ml third week now at 4ml but it’s the even dose of all parts even through flower which throws people off. Sensi has different products for flower and veg the 3 part doesn’t

Moral of the story now is half manufactures dosage and increase it as needed lol. If you need the dosage information just go their site and use the nutrient calculator :slightly_smiling:

Funny thing Donald I was even thinking of the 3 part when I was writing how I did the 2 part lol. Sometimes gets confusing using different nutes at the same time! I did the same with GH 3 part for Hydro, started half strength and increased until I found the sweet spot.

I use GH 3 part for soil so used to tweaking mixes but running 3 side by side dwc with 3 different nutes gh an and organic tea fortunately not my post because I have a plan for flower but since testing would be poor advise
