There’s been numerous studies about using a green light in dark period and it should be fine as long as you get the right type of green light. This is the one I recommend. They actually show you the light spectrum and it’s all totally in the spectrum that is okay for plants in darkness. Some of the other ones are really close but still have a little bit of light out of the spectrum so if the bulb is close enough to the plant it will still affect it. Some of them are not true green bulb and just have green glass and they are way out of spectrum for running in dark hours. Don’t go with the cheap ones and just make sure it’s a true green light.

I have also heard that plants cannot ā€œseeā€ the green spectrum and I myself have covered up my phone light with a green photography filter once or twice when I first started. Imo tho not really worth stressing em. I mean what do you really need in there for when they are asleep? If its something super important maybe in case of emergencies but if u just love looking at em like I do prob best to leave em be.

It is perfectly fine to water your plants anytime I do mine mornings mostly but there’s times I have to put it off till later in the day. Spraying them is different you never want to spray your plants and leave your lights on. The droplets act like a magnifying glass and will burn the leaves

Why not just get night vision goggles? Lol, but for real this is pretty cool… Didn’t know it was possible!

There is a serious threat to your sleeping beauties when using any light during ā€˜Lights Out’

Here is an article talking about the use of green light.

Thanks for this! I thought it too good to be true…

I could link 100 article that say it’s ok as well. I have the light I recommend and have used with no negative effects. Just my experience and my research.

Plants take up moisture when lights are on that’s why the leaves seem to droop at rest because there not plumped up with liquid so they get a lil soft

NASA, Oxford, and multiple other major universities disagree with you. All have reports stating they have measured plant response from green light.

This subject is very slippery slope. It is best to not interrupt dark cycle of flowering cannabis plants.
