Question from a fellow grower:
I had one plant that didn’t have any trichomes. I kept expecting them to appear but nothing. I have since trimmed all the plants and I have the dried “non trichome plant” sitting next to me.
Actually there were trichomes. Each time I checked, there were about 5 - 8 in my view instead of clusters with too many to count. I also have more questions if you don’t mind. I am sending pics of some issues I have in all the last twenty seeds I purchased.
Picture ending with 511 (first pic): these 4 plants stopped growing weeks ago. this has occurred before so it may not be only your seeds. It appears they froze. they got to this level (at approx the same time) and that’s it. They don’t grow but the leaves look fine. They are a few inches tall or close. I wonder why they stop growing.
Pic ending in 525 - one of these frozen plants has a fat stem. MUCH fatter than the others. It looks like the stem may be getting fat but the leaves don’t grow.
Pic ending in 545 - this is an example of a skinny stem in the group of four frozen plants. Looks kind of normal to me.
Pic ending in 602 - This plant had HUGE top leaves and very little growth on the under leaves. I have had this before. I just trim the top huge leaves. then all the leaves grow together and the plant survives and grows buds. Not sure if the buds are what it would grow otherwise but it seems to grow normally after I get rid of those top HUGE 3 - 4 leaves.
Pic ending in 629 - This shows my lights too. Normally my lights are 18 inches above the plants. During the last week I am changing them to stimulate growth in those tiny plants.
Second question regarding something else:
My last round of plants also had another weird issue. Some, not a lot, of the buds had white creamy stuff on the tops of them. I looked it up and found out it was from having my lights too close. It totally makes sense. My lights were too close and have gone away since. I was told I could smoke those buds. I did. No problem and I enjoyed the buzz. But I now have a serious cough. Is this serious cough from those buds? It appears I also have it in all walks of my day, during golf, in sleep and I haven’t smoked in weeks. I am being told I am crazy and my cough is not from those buds and that creamy substance. What do you think?
Any advise you have would be appreciated.
