Question about dwc

Well it’s been almost 48 hours and here are pics.

Roots

It’s like a clear jelly slime something on the roots now. But not stretching into the basket. Temps last night did climb into the 80s.

I say put her in a bucket while you mix up your nutes in the tote and then add her back… the top looks too good to have had root rot and all this moving around… rinsing all that black out of the top definitely was a good thing…

Just not understanding what that jelly looking stuff on the roots is then

I had it once blamed hydro guard never hurt anything. I found it when I harvested. The plant looks happy like @Retiredoldguy said. I don’t know how high your water level is but looking at the top I would say it is good. I honestly wouldn’t be to concerned yet the leaves look good.

I have it that just the tips of the roots at the bottom of the netpod are in the water, it’s a 27 gallon tote I am filling it with 15 gallons of water. It’s a 6inch netpod

What nutrients and additional benifcial’s are you using again?
You really don’t want your room or tent temps above 78 and i really never let my flower room ever go above 76…
So there’s that…
Your really kinda walking the fence with those temps and the coco ontop of the clay balls  was more harm than good…
If you can take that plant out side and hose off the net basket and spray as much of that coco off as possible and if you have to add more clay balls that would still be better  and give you a better fighting chance…
You really don’t want the trunk of the plant to be surrounded by moisture…
It can lead to all sorts of problems… :+1:
:v: :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Nutrients are Advanced Nutrients pH perfect micro grow bloom. Big bud, bud candy, bud ignitor, overdrive, sensi cal mag Xtra.

Then hydroguard.

The temp normally doesn’t go above 75F I have AC in window and set to 67F

And in a few days when I get back home I can get water in a 5 gallon bucket and dunk the netpod to remove as much of the coco as possible.

Greetings, brother
They are doing well and you as well are doing well with them.
May I ask about your temps in your buckets what have they been and is 65 to 75, are you doing well is this area? I keep mine ok so far but they say root rot can occur aboue 75. Maybe problems for me in the summer months. And how much space are you leaving from the bottom of your plant holder to the water? I am trying to keep it right at my seed bucket until I het roots to touch.
Take care
