Pushing the boundaries ( expanding/3rd grow )

Thanks man . Realizing I still need a decent humidifier and dehumidifier. The only thing is ac inifinty t-7 is the only one that would work and they are out of stock till March 5th . Unless I want to pay 400 for the drop air or ideal air 75 pint a day . I want to but being able to is a complete different story :joy:.

Then I go to get another ivation 13 pint rotary style dehumidifier and they stopped making them . :rage:. Is the only decent dehumidifier made for growers of 5x5 to 10x10 space . I think I found 1 other similar descinent rotary style by a place called eva air ? 300+ dollars . Smh

Also having to make a sacrifice . Have 6 of my smaller in veg and 2 of my big in veg in the same environment as the 4 autos that have a few weeks left of flower . So something is needing sacrificed . Well maybe not sacrificed but just going to have to be in not the recommended vpd range. And thats going to be the 4 autos . It is what it is and they do what they’ll do .

I have at least the means to keep one full room correctly dialed in . Worse comes to worse I’ll have the correct means for other room by next grow so will just have to hope for the best till then . :+1:.

Kinda messed up a tad this grow anyway . Wish I would of started in a little bit bigger pots and connected my exhaust a little sooner as I didn’t realize temps was going up in the 90s when I was at work till about a week later when I actually further looked into history of ac Infinity chart. The CO2 should been a bit of a blanket for that though and everything still looks ok . Now in 7 gallon hopefully they’ll have room to fix any potential stress and still grow to their potential.

Inkbird ITC-308 Temperature Controller with IHC-200 Humidity Controller https://a.co/d/2iVigyl

Could you get something that’ll work until they come back in stock and control them with these?

The AC Infinity humidifier is great with the 69 controller. I love it. To bad they don’t make a dehumidifier yet. Presently I use a home dehumidifier that at night I place at one door of the tent when the lights go off. Before I purchased the humidifier I used a simple cheap brand I bought at a dollar general and it did it’s job. I had to fill it a couple times per day. Good luck my friend and happy growing

Thanks but I have those . There ok for as a backup or mainly for when I grow mushrooms . I use AC Infinity controller 69 and 69 pro . Im all set as far as controllers are concerned . I just need a good humidifier and dehumidifier. Which unfortunately the good ones within reasonable budget are out of stock till the 5th of May. The next best one that would actually work like it’s supposed to for 5x5 and up are going into like entry level commercial grade stuff and the smallest one is like 400 bucks . Would be nice but don’t have the money right now . I have the biggest one leviot makes which kinda works but it’s not very accurate of set points of turning off and on . And you can’t hook it up to a controller because it doesn’t have that automatic turn itself on once power is restored , you have to manually hit the button .
But what I need probably even more is a good dehumidifier. The ivation 13 pint descinent rotary style is the best one I could find that actually works well with a controller . The ones with condensers don’t work for smaller rooms and set ups . It’s either the fan running for a few minutes before the condenser kicks on bringing your humidity up to high 80s and the condenser continues to run a few minutes after reaching desired humidity level bringing your rh down to the 20s so it’s a constant up and down going on and plants do not like that . Your better off with consistency. Im not sure wether it was 6 or 7 dehumidifiers that I bought and returned because that or they was to small and didn’t even bring the humidity down :joy:

Thanks man yeah if you read the response I just left other growmie you will see all the trouble I had before finding one that actually works . I bought and returned 5-6 before finally this t-7 ac infinity is right on point ! For my 5x5 and now working just as good in the 6x11 . Then the dehumidifier I returned even more before finding the 13 pint ivation I have . It’s a descinent/ rotary style that you don’t have to manually press the power button so it works great with controllers .

@BigRedMachine here’s my current topic . It’s one of those things where I realized I bit off a little to much to chew but in to deep to turn around . So I basically feel like I’m running around like a freaking clown at a circus . :joy:
But not doing to terribly bad .

Thank you @Blackmoon and @FUKAZ28 and @everyone else who has been riding along so far . :+1:.

Maybe someone could answer this question for me . … This plant here is around maybe 2 months of veg

So hypothetically speaking do you guys think I could veg it till May and then put it outdoors to let it veg another few months and let nature takes its course ? I know I would at least need to put it in a big around 100 gallon container but has anyone ever heard of anyone vegging a plant for that long ? Or even potentially having a plant through multiple harvest ?

So yeah that transfer in bigger pots is exactly what the gals needed . They was getting a little to cooped up in those one gallon pots , drying up to fast , and that one week before connecting exhaust the temps got out of hand and they was looking kinda worrisome . But they are all coming back to a healthy and happy looking bunch of gals now . :+1:

I read one member stating they have had a mother plant in veg for 2 years.

I think you can veg as long as you want also. My max was 5 months. She was pretty big already when she went outside in May to veg for another 2 months (mid July) when she started to flower

I was thinking so myself . I thought this plant would be absolutely huge if I put it outdoors in like a 100-200 gallon pot . As temping as it is I split this one down the middle tying it back early in its life . So I could just imagine it’s own weight finish splitting it right down the middle and end up loosing pounds :joy: . Plus I’m leaving for ouc of state work in June for a couple months . I would hate to put all this time to leave it to a non cannabis grower to watch it for me . Isn’t so bad if a few smaller ones don’t make it .

Yep good point ! mother plants . Why didnt I think about them? .duh !! I need to slow down :joy:

I wish I had written down the individual totals. I had 9 plants (reg’s… I didn’t include the 5 autos in the total) and had 11.9 pounds (dry)… Oh, I didn’t include the popcorn buds and stuff I pull off to make qwet which was 7.5 pounds but still decent small buds… so 19.4 pounds, avg 2.15 pounds each

CHOCOLATE THAI

SNEAKY FREAKY

GRAPE APE

MANGO MINTALITY (that tall skyrocket one behind her is a HELLA JELLY

The baby of the group she was a re-veg) 11 ROSES

And the best for last - my own creation "MOMMA’S MANGO)… I actually had 3 of these and they were all about the same size.

That journal is here:

And my last grow here:

I think I found someone that would water my plants when I leave this summer . Shes young and has no idea what she is doing so I would have to show her how to mix , pH , and all that . But if I start a plant in around March and can get her to water twice a week while I’m gone . I’ll come back once a month for my Suboxone doctor so I can do any training and defoil then . But I think I may still have a chance of having a couple nice plants this year . I want pics like yours @Caligurl :cowboy_hat_face:
