They do!!
A good variety at that!
Yes they do for sure and just because you canāt see a huge plob of spores in there doesnāt mean itās no good I would have to think yeah!! Since the spores are microscopic who knows right Iād run them out and see whatās doing for sure especially after you paid for them right. No harm no foul
Those jars look like theyāre coming along nicely! You are still using the boomr bags right if not mistaken
I am. I ordered a bag but there are shipping delays. I used to get bags from Midwest Grow Kits, but had so many problems with contamination with their products that I switched to the Boomr Bags.
The Boomr Bags are pretty expensive from Amazon. You can get them cheaper ($25) by buying them directly from North Spore. Use code curativemush for 20% off.
Little update on my cakes. The two ksss that got rehydrated are starting to push out some pins. The two b+ cakes look stalled and whatever fruit is on there hasnāt really grown in a couple days. Do I rehydrate them? Last I took the 4 remaining jars 2 b+ and 2 golden teachers and got them in the fruiting chamber. Iām keeping the three sets in different fruiting chambers out of caution. The one cake had a pin before I ever took it out of the jar. Hoping itās a good sign. I havenāt touched the uncle Benās since I inoculated it. I guess my plan going forward is to make some more pk tek jars because I have the brown rice flower to use and no pressure cooker. Can the brown rice flower be mixed into the uncle Benās rice when it gets put in the fruiting chamber?
Are you going to be fruiting in the bag or are you going to put the spawn to a substrate?
I was thinking a substrate might be better. Considering using coco because I have it on hand. I am open to options and will look online to see what works well.
If you are doing the CVG substrate and the strains are the same Iād go for it.
The two ub bags are the same strain just to make it easier for me to remember. I have to look into gypsum thatās something I have never used. Not even sure what size bin I would be looking to use. Can I use two shoe box sized ones or something a bit bigger is better? I guess it would have to be big enough to put everything into one or have two separate bins.
Iām still going to run them just to see, hopefully something comes of it.
All you can do is try them out right? Never know they might be the best ones you have yet to run. Keeping my fingers crossed for you in the meantime yeah!!
why donāt you just mix your own CVG
I prefer something that I can simply pour out of a bag when I need it. No water, no mixing, no buckets, no pasteurization,ā¦
Hope everyone had a good Christmas .
The b+ cakes have stopped making fruit and have a few small ones that stopped growing. Should I remove all the little ones that didnāt grow before rehydrating? The cakes got dry by the feel of them. Not really sure how to stop that from happening either. I mist the chamber at least 3-4 times a day.
I do. They never contribute to the second flush.
Cakes will dry out as flushes are complete. Soak the cake for 24 hours for a second flush.
Iāll remove them and let um soak overnight.
I do the same get rid of any aborts for sure they can only lead to a quicker contamination of the cakes/tubs Iāve found when doing multiple flushes for sure
@First So this is where Iām at. The two ksss cakes have some pins and a mushroom growing. They look short like the last ones. Do you have any suggestions on how to keep my perlite damper. I notice itās drying out with just misting the walls and lid. Keeping the cakes moist might be my biggest problem.
The four I just got into the chamber have nothing going on yet.
Hey Capt how damp is the perlite in the tub? Iāve been misting my tubs lightly on the substrate if it seems to be really dry just not soaking them to the point of water pooling up on the top. The ship sails your way later on today sorry I missed the post office on Friday they closed at noon.
Well it felt pretty dry last night in two out of three tubs. The one tub I misted because Iām soaking the cakes the other I just misted a little heavy on the sides hoping the perlite would soak some up. I could be wrong but I think if my cakes had more moisture they would possibly produce more. Right on Iām looking forward to something of quality.
