Soā¦I let someone āhelpā. I actually cried. Iām sure some of you are right now too. She was beautiful and so strong. Will it survive? Will I still get to harvest something? 2 days post destruction. So far sheās got new growth and is staying green.
This is a fairly pricey strain from what I understand and my first cannabis plant ever. I was hoping to do her justice start to finish. (FAIL )
On another noteā¦ can you push autoflowers to produce a few seeds without other plants nearby? Is that a realistic thing?
Oh wow. If that plant is an auto it might be a while before it catches up. I dont think most folks on the forum prune their autos like that as it takes so long to recover. IMO, it may live out and make small buds but may not produce like it could have.
These plants will surprise you with how much abuse they can take. Give her a couple of weeks and she will look good. There was a grower on here (who is no longer with us RIP Unknown) whoās wife took a pair of scissors to his plant and a couple of weeks later it was good.
Right!? As ashamed as I am I figured why not post so people can get some entertainment out of the shock value Iām honestly happy just to succeed in any harvest from my first one. Learned not to trust so easy. Being that itās fruity pebbles it would have been awesome to see enough to share with folks. Reeeally awesome to get a couple seeds however hopes arenāt high from researching.
This plant is surprisingly stubborn and strong. It started as a half burnt seed flicked into a tomato planter. Has grown through 3 extreme Canadian seasons with half the light it shouldāve had and yet she still perists. Thank you for the input guys. Poor guy with the wifeā¦ Happy to hear his plant was OK butā¦ hope heās OK.
Hahaā¦if you look super close, I dropped her while relocating and broke a bottom/mid branch several weeks ago. Just for giggles I put medical tape around itā¦here it is just budding away now lol
Keep us posted on her. No sorry he passed away a few months ago.
No shame in the game
Everything is a learning curve. I just got my first grow to within a breath of harvest and I feel super lucky they aināt all dead from my generally knowledge-lacking grow. We all stumble. But folks here are quick to help, offer advice and support, and when needed, a dose of reality. We can only get better with each grow. Plants can produce a huge amount of THC when stressed. Who knows? Those buds may be fire when harvested! Iāll be tagging along to find out. Good luck!
Ooooh man. I AM SOOO SORRY to have made such an ignorant comment. And sorry the community lost someone. Yikes. Iāll work on my filter.
Like @TransplantedFarmgirl said we all make mistakes when growing these plants I know iāve made my share. There like a Timex watch ātake a licking and keep on a tickingā. Any questionās you have ask away. āHappy Growingā
Thank you! I garden a ton but something about these is just so intimidating compared to everything else Iāve grown or failed at. I will definitely try to keep yāall posted. Sheās just entering week 3 of flowering I believe. Gonna need plenty of support. Probably more mentally
No problem you didnāt know.
ā¦and may I formally introduce you all to " Wilma" ( pronounced always in a Fred Flintstone vibe)
We got your back
Iāve garden for a few decades too, and this is unlike anything else I have grown. I have crossed Apple tree varieties and made new styles of tomatoes, and cannot wait to see what varieties I will create in the cannabis world.
The great thing is you can go as minute or as hands off as you want to. I threw a seed in the dirt from some shake in a bag and boom! Itās my biggest plant! Premo seeds are great and it is awesome knowing every seed you plant from ILGM is gonna produce buds. But the thrill of the unknown is also pretty cool. Your plants getting super stressed may toss some nanners and you may get a seed or two. The unknown is always a little more fun in this hobbyā¦ In my humblest of opinions.
Welpā¦ sheās been holding on but not looking so great as of yesterday and today. Slight new growth but very minimal. Not sure sheās going to make it.
Well, I think you stunted the shit out of her.
But as long as you provide the right environment she should finish eventually.
It will just take longer than it would have if it werenāt stunted. IMHO
Indeed. Unfortunately she got bugs and root rot too so she has thrown in the towel. Feeling defeated lol
Eliminate root rot and all your watering problems and you will succeed.

Once you use an Autopot, your plants will grow about 50% faster.
Filling the reservoir keeps plants properly watered for over a week.
No more over/under watering your plants.
This is the best $100 you could invest towards getting a successful harvest, IMHO
It pays for itself on your first harvest.
See how well my Super Silver Haze girls are doing in this Autopot?
Use quality ILGM seeds like the Super Silver Haze, proper lighting and nutes with the autopot
And you will grow frosty buds like these too!
These are a day less than 6 weeks of 12/12 lighting.
Ad states 8 weeks for flower, so 2+ more weeks to go.
Imagine how plump and frosty they will be then.
The Autopot makes things so much easier to get results like these!
I could not do this without one, IMHO.
Drop a couple more beans. The defoliating is done sooĆ²oā¦no more stress on it. Give it love. Feed herā¦hug herā¦talk to her and see what she does. Dry her out a bit is what i would do then give her a solid regimen. Cant hurt a bit if you have room to see if can save her. Never find out if you trash her. She would become a project for me. Auto is only issue i see. Photo just veg right back up. Learning opportunity.
This is an awesome idea! Thank you for all the feedback. Every bit of knowledge helps.
This! Haha. She was my lil buddy and loved music too. For most of her days she was on my patio and thriving. Then winter came and I had to take her inside. The light was ok but she just couldnāt breathe anymore and wouldnāt dry out. I didnāt learn how easy it is to fix root rot until after all this unfortunately. I just feel like she hated the move and then this happened to her and she was like ānopeā. No matter what I did including just leaving her alone it just stressed he routine more. So sad. Next spring I will plant much earlier too so they can hopefully finish outside. For an accidentally grown plant I learned a ton and almost did great lol. Aparently Canadian plants need their winter coatsš
