Welp just what I did not need 7 weeks in flower. Last night rain and basement went to 45% RH. Best I could do was 55% in tent at max duct flow. No signs of wet plants or walls but it’s the buds I am worried about.
House HVAC usually keeps basement at 35 or better. I do have a dehumidifier in laundry room but the square foot of the room means it does not do much.
Going to set up dehue next to tent and place on table to allow drain into 5 gallon buckets.
After reviewing data I stumbled on an entry for environmental controls. It appears when I was in 4th week of veg and moved the girls up to 85/70 temp and RH I made it easier on the humidifier by moving house up to 45% RH and when I went into flower I had forgot. The setting is not easy to get to behind the acoil assembly behind a rather large gun safe
Set for 30% and see how it goes through the day. Did move the dehue next to the tent
Very close to chop last ILGM Apple Fritter Auto this run.
These are nitrogen hungry mini plants. Other 3 did not do as well but due to the staggerd plant ages I was able to amend the soil and adjust nutrition to get these looking good.
Have 2nd tent ready soon if I get more then 8 to launch. These have done well and the fact that I do not have a cabinet full of weed is all on me.
These are a very nitrogen happy plants and I will start amending 2 weeks after 2nd new set.
New nutrition choice. I have limited foop for flower and can finish 5 more plants. I have Dr Earth flower girl and organic gold. Will follow organic feed schedule.
3 gallon pots and will plant directly into pots after a tail shows.
Pots have been running for 3 days in tent to ensure stability and lights are balanced. Watered 1 liter in empty pots with zero drainage out of pot. 3 pots did not settle properly and the sides need filled.
Based on last run of 5 gallon pots the 3 gallon should be a better choice. Lots of empty rooms when I put soil into recycle bins. As these plants are small and hardly went out of the 5 gallon bag perimeter 8 should work well.
Upgrades this run include a semi rigid 6 inch duct on the top of the tent though a soffit fixture in the tent
This allows me to place an insect screen and a mobile growee sensor to track heat and humidity at the exit of the tent. The duct runs through wall and carbon filter is outside the grow room.
Waiting on seeds to pop
Update
9 out of 11 seeds popped within 40 hours. Made up an extra pot and installed in 4x4. If I get 2 more to launch I will put 3 in the 31x31 tent
All pots 3 gallon with 75% HF and 25% OF with 6 cups perlite.
Center divot of low power seed starter and popped seeds installed in middle.
Tent and lung room spotless clean.
Last ILGM Apple Fritter Autos popped. This makes 11 for 11 this run and 20 for 20 for the whole purchase.
I do expect to loose a couple of seeds due to hull adhesion issues. It appears that tiny seeds are gunna do this.
They are just cute little mini plants. Just made it out of the footprint of a 5 gallon pot. The 5 gallon was wasted dirt as the roots did not fill 1/2 of it.
Update
9 seedlings above dirt with 8 presented colys and one it looks like the seed hull took a coly with it. 1 just at the dirt level and one no clue.
Watered with ro 100 ml around perimeter of solo cup. Freshed up stickys. Did find 5 gnants on traps but 3 times that on outside traps.
Gnants are bad this year. Living in the grass. Cats bring em in. I do not let furbabbies in the grow room. Got more than enough hair in my weed thx.
Looks like 10 out of 11 sprouts are viable. Everything above the dirt has first set of new leafs. 2 plants have only 3. All seed hulls dropped.
Moved light to 8k on outer band and 9200 on hot spots.
No new gnants in tent but 3 on the new setup outside.
Will keep in the big tent until the plants reach the perimeter of the pots then split up with 7 in large tent and 3 in smaller tent.
