Potheads forever grow. Seed to harvest

Bought a new bunch of smoke kit and included was a neat tribute pipe.

Ned Kelly of the Kelly Gang tribute. The stem has a rolled up wanted poster and the bowl is a facsimile of the helmet from his suit of armor the gang used in the final shootout.

The story reminded me a lot of another person who was forced into unreasonable actions.
A fellow who’s business and livelihood was denied by local corruption.

Marvin Heemeyer was just channeling the spirit of the Kelly Gang.

No service needed today.
Upped VPD to 1.4
63% lights 53k tops 48k mids 33k lower bowl.
77 degrees day 69 night
pH is fixed.

At 1.4 the Widows can drink like mad. I expect the watering to be 3 days from slight damp bottom to ready. Verification will be key to not over swinging this when the plants start shutting down and the water through put goes way down.

Overwatering flowers that have lost all supporting veg is fatal.

Watch fish jump and turtles sun.

There is a reason only one chair is out here.

Your buds look great :star_struck: I would humbly suggest adding some neem cake to the water for a bit of extra nitrogen, 1 tablespoon per gallon :evergreen_tree: or something else with some nitrogen, worm castings? Alfalfa meal? Bat guano?

Are you giving them cal/mag?

The presentation of the plants is explained in the journal.

Hope I get a harvest. Major mistake was made.

What happened?

Edit: nevermind…

The mistake.
Documented over swung a neem insecticide root drench due to not correctly reading a bottle.
I use jacks neem and it works well but I use the RTU spray as it worked foliar. I had a 1/2 a bottle and used it up and went to big orange box store for more.
I found a bottle of jacks neem with a broadcast spreader where you put the hose on it.

The jacks RTU spray was basically 1% neem.
I thought the broadcast bottle was 9.1 % neem and mixed it 10-1.
10 days later I am reconstructing the event and read the bottle.
Tiny print
Get a picture and enlarge it.

Contents. 91% neem oil

Mixed rate 10 times to much.

pH under 5

Warm water bath on the 3 plants most faded. Finally got 6.4 out the bottom and soil was a little lower at 6.0

I think 2 plants will croak soon. Depends on if the sugars can power the last 3 weeks.
The widows should finish.

Ive seen some miraculous recovery before. Seeing any ill effect yet?

The fade is just now getting into the sugars. I am actually surprised it has not stopped but who knows if any roots died or not. Basically the oil smothered the 02 conversion and the plant acted like an overwater pH drop.

Will post some close bud pics I have not checked if it has harmed any trics. Still see lots of sugar.
Widows are plumping and one BB is also.

Thanks for sharing, we all make mistakes :victory_hand:

I have never used Neem oil, just Neem Meal/cake, the plants like it and it’s good for the soil…

Neem meal is a natural fertilizer that enriches soil with essential nutrients, improves soil structure, and enhances microbial activity. It also acts as a pest deterrent, helping to protect plants from soil-dwelling pests and diseases.

I did this to my first plant fighting bugs. Sprayed over concentrated neem oil first thing one morning. Cooked em bad but was in veg and they recovered.
