Potential topping problem

So if you check in the below pictures, you will see. I have recently topped my plant. However, this would be my first time topping, and I think I did it wrong. Can I get some insight on if I did it wrong and if so, if my plant will bounce back, this is day two after topping, and I haven’t seen anything. Significant happen and on my time lapse video. I haven’t seen any indication of even a slight bit of growth since topping.

Your plant and topping job look fine to me.

I would leave more stem when you top. A stem that is a couple inches will help the plant develop a stronger knuckle at the topping site.

@MidwestGuy is spot on, leaving a stem above the last node will help the trunk not to split.:oncoming_fist::smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I believe I cut at six Going down into five left. However, when I looked at a bunch of videos, it seems like I did do it wrong because I noticed a similar problem with not seeing branches form and it’s day three now, and I still have not seen any growth on my timeLaps video.
