Forgive the sorry sight of these girls, I have been trying to revive them and did a couple of things like check light and nutes, but I was thinking: could it be the pot It’s now too small? think they are 5Lt, i have the 15L ready to transplant them in, but i thought i could wait a bit longer, but maybe that’s the reason they are suffering?
Is it possible they are over watered? See a little crispy look on the front right(photo right). Any coco? I just had one auto in a smaller pot in coco. I was amazed at how much root growth there was.
I was sure I answered you; sorry, they are as dry as a bone, I have not watered them for 2 days.
I am not sure about the coco question.
I grow them on a 70/30 coco perlite with some pellets I had left from a previous cocoa mix 60/40
K. You interact quite a bit so I’m thinking you’re on top of your basic numbers? Looking at the yellowish leaves and a couple charts, possibly a zinc deficit? I was asking about the coco as it will dry out rather quickly. I was having some overwater issues in a pot that didnt drain very well. When i was getting yellowing on my outdoor soil grows, it was almost always a pH issue.
Pot size shouldnt matter with the right watering practices imo… heres a bruce banner flowering in 1gal bag(slightly more than 4L) not stunted and no root bound.
In coco pot size really doesn’t matter… in small pots like that you should be feeding multiple times per day, the strength of your feed and frequency is determined by run off.
I also grow in 1 gallon coco perlite 50/50 and by peak I’m watering 5 times per day. (Automated)
If multiple feeds isn’t something that you can commit to I’d recommend 5 gallon pots. It’s fairly easy to get away with that 1 feed per day. With little to no perlite.
The smaller the pots the more frequently they need to be fed.
Avoid this if you can. The coco can become aquaphobic developing air pockets under the surface. It’s a relatively easy fixing coco, just takes a lot of nutrients to kind of flush through and rewet the dried out bits.
Coco needs to be fed daily in veg and flower. Sometimes multiple times. @Low got you for sure.
Thank you for all your help, i am in UK so our hours are all over, so, sorry for delayed replies.
Zinc, idk, could be, i know i did overwatered them once, they were still in the original pot, i stabilised them and moved them to these bigger pots, then i had a nutes deficiency, i sorted it plus i added calmag. Light is within range, feed as well, PH 5.9.
Hello @Low, and thank you for your help; your crop looks fantastic.
About feeding schedules, I am going to try to feed them multiple times a day. Last time i used autopot, transplanted them from a small pot to autopot when they were a couple of weeks old, bottom feeding it’s great as the plant takes exactly the amount she needs.
You guys are great, thank you,
I’ll check the runoff of these girls and adjust the feeding schedule to multiple times a day. I’ll hold the transplant till they are better. Let’s see,
