just an update …they are holding there own I guess (with positivity)…the are growing 3rd set just barely poking their tips…2 weeks to the day they reared their tiny bitty heads from the soil…the hieght is 2.75 on thickest one, 3.25 on Mr.tall and skinny.:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: …Color to me is a little pale / darker in the center portion of top leaves…I watered yesterday for 1st time in 4 days in 3gl pot…that was the hardest part but they did in fact thank me …the soil had just started to pull away from sides of pots, but was still moist a little down to 2 inches. gave each pot @ 6 oz. of tap h2o at the outer most edges of 3gl. pot a little to much I think but of course (I) me tinks they needed it !!LOL! It doesn’t seem to take alot to really wet this HF soil…I’m still studying that.
My question of the day…could I water next time in a few days with a 1/4 strenght 4-8-7 GH Nova bloom to incourage a litlle greening and root growth in HFrog soil 3gl. pot at outside of leaf canopy???
I know Patients rt>>ADHD Manic…not patient …They just look weak AFu*k

Thanks in advance for any input.

I saw u liked my last post…RE; adding 1/4 nutes …does that mean yes go ahead??

I think 1/4 strength is probably wholly acceptable. I wouldn’t push past that.

2 weeks in? I wouldnt be in any rush as u could slipup and wonk pH or they could still have a nice meal left in the Happy Frog (pretty sure they do).

Do u have ur pH and ppm pens yet?

Next watering. Test the runoff’s ppms/tds. (Parts per million is a unit of measurement used with Total Dissolved Solids, essentially same thing)

No pens yet ;< Money strapped. hopefully in a couple of weeks . I do have a little test kit from the hardware store somewhere . It’s got the clear plastic res. with the little pill caps that you open and dump to change the color. Not sure how accurate but I’ll see if I can find it.

They are just so skinny and pale…I’m thinking it must be Ph or still recovering from my start.'< I think the Genetics of the super lemon haze is sativa dominate maybe that’s why?

Yup. Hazes are Sativa Dom and Super Lemon is no exception.

The tds pen u can get a cheapie $10 vivosun and itll carry its weight. But as usual I get cost constraints completely

so…other than my seeds being the size of a pinhead I mean tiny… could the tiny stems be from small seed stock ,or, just sativa normal growth…?Or…;> my initial overwatering . All three?..votes anyone !LOL!

TY for vivosun recommendation will do that.

Its hard to say without pics.

Silica is a great stem strengthener. Just a little in your water will go a LONG way, but beware it will skyrocket pH (think into the 8’s).
Airflow is another natural way to increase stem strength. An indirectly angled fan will do the trick.

I wouldnt lean sativa genetics this early. Its alot more pronounced in flower. Possibly not strong genetics overall is more likely.

Could I just use a little silica directly at the stem / stalk and not the whole pot?

Not a good idea… not sure it will be readily available.

Mixing a tid bit into a gallon of water then watering around the stem maybe a tid bit better. But itll still be out of range and need the pH adjusted before pouring

I got cha now …it’s water needs to be Ph’d before application ok then…need that Ph meter. TY. Can’t get away with just like a few drops /shot glass at base of stem then.
