Hi people, please this is my first time growing and I have problem with Fungus gnats. I was gone for week and my friend was watering my plants, when a came back yesterday I noticed small flies around the plant and the leaves turning yellow, I immediately applied peroxide, sprinkled the soil with turmeric and put the catching tapes around my plants. The flies seemed to disappear right after the peroxide but today they are flying around again (but a lot less of them then yesterday) how long does it take for them to disappear and what should I do next? How often to use the peroxide. I have 3% peroxide and I diluted it 1:1 with water and watered the plants ( but I didn’t want to put too much water to them because they were overwatered and I know that caused the gnats + I sprayed the 3% peroxide without diluting on the top of the soil+ turmeric+ catching tapes. Please help. Thanks

I use mosquito bits. Soak in water and apply. After a few days the adults will die. The larva will die in the soil. Gnats gone.
neem oil is the best for most bugs ect. follow directions on bottle. it works for me . hope it will for you also
forgot to add… spray soil and work it in spray top and bottom of leaves.
