Please help, we’re close but not sure

Please advise! We had a much less successful first attempt at the auto White Widow. I’m afraid we harvested too soon or too late because there was very minimal affect from smoking the product. Just need help to look at some pics and tell me if I’m close to ready. Unfortunately I thought they were much closer about four weeks ago, and stopped giving nectar for the gods at that time.

The trichomes need to be inspected on actual buds rather than the leaves because leaves tend to show ready sooner than the plants really are. That said, your plants still look like they have a ways to go judging by pistils and leaf color. Just a guess but at least 2 weeks. Can’t properly tell without trichomes on the actual buds.

Those are still clear, don’t stop nutes your sacrificing yeild/potency/ canabanoid production.

Like @VTGROW explained lots to go, pistles still white and tricomb shots only matter of the buds. But you have a while.
Take picture with lights off and camera flash on

How many weeks are they… The big cola pic looks a little foxtaily. Might explain the excessive white pistils plus you thought they were done a month ago?

Still have plenty time to go. The pistils are still white.

Thank you all for your help. I’ll try to improve the pics and send some more. We were so worried we overdid the last batch and that’s why it was so impotent. Yes we did stop nutes a month ago. BAD! I know. Should we start giving nutes again? We read so much on flushing but I don’t know if that is as necessary with the autos???

@LoCoRock, @Nicky, @MrPeat and @VTGROW. Please see above. Thank you guys!

With autos it is important, however this process only takes a maximum of two weeks with soil, and much less with other mediums. I’d say based on the trichomes you did provide which are supposed to be further along, you got a ways to go before a full milky trichome coverage. Just let them do their thing, they’ll be ready when they’re ready no need to rush, it’s tough being patient but it’ll be worth it

Do a run off sample and report back, also what nutrients are you using?

Then we can get you back on track but yes your gonna want to feed but let’s make sure you feed the right amount

Btw, those look really nice for autos. I’m done with them for a bit because you never know what you’ll get and they can’t take much stress. But honestly, it looks like yours are doing great.

Thank you VTGROW!

@Nicky. More lack of knowledge here. Do a run off, then test the water? Am I checking for PH level? We use Nectar For the gods and ocean forest soil from fox farm.

Give Ph’d water read the run off of the TDS this will tell us how much nutrients are in the soil so we know how much to feed.

Otherwise you feeding blind

Does it say how much water those feed charts are meant to treat? Is that per gallon?

Yes, per gallon

At this late in the plant life, I wouldn’t worry about adding nutes. Chalk it up as a hard lesson learned and move forward. The colas look nice and big.

@Kbob I also do not pH test nor use my TDS meter. Like I always say…Mother Nature doesn’t test, so why should I. And my monster plants I’d compare to any grower out there for quality. :+1:

@MrPeat, @LoCoRock, @VTGROW, @Nicky, @orb932. Well it’s been a bit and I have some new pictures. I sure would like some more advice if anyone has time! I did trial a little bit about a week ago and it had little to no affect.

I take a small popcorn sized bud at the bottom and nuke it the microwave for 1 minute on high. You will know pretty fast how she is. :+1:

I had a reply typed up last time but never sent it…
Looks like your fox tailing, do you have a sub microscope? Tricombs are the only way to check but looking at your buds ide say your done and your fox tailing now.

Personally not a fan of @MrPeat microwave method sounds pretty red neck to me lol
Definitely not a appropriate dry or cure method.
