So im pretty sure my girls got stressed, either rh fluctuations or temps. Getting seeds in some early buds off lower branches. They were all ILGM photos grand daddy purple, purple haze, purple kush. Week 5 flr. What are the pros and cons. Will seeds produce hermies. Ive had success in the past with what ive been doing.

that’s what “they” say about the seeds but I’ve grown literally hundreds of seeds from plants I didn’t purposely pollinate, I grew outdoors so who knows who the daddy was but I’m sure there were a bunch from bananas and I never grew a true hermaphrodite (female plant with balls) until I grew indoors with seeds I bought from a seed bank. I have grown many plants that got bananas over the years

Some plants will produce some seeds in order to make sure there genes survive

Can u get some close up lics of some of the buds so we can see if we see any male parts there to cause it or not. If no make parts seen anywhere I’d lean towards it was pollinated and may be viable seeds but u’ll never know unless u drop a couple and see what u get from them. Best is a solid plant make parts free and the worst is they can be herms and produce nanners.
Yes and I have had great weed from the seeds. My plants were small but I got between 11 -15 colas from them. Over all not bad. In addition if its male it will probably be taller than the rest. If you keep it make sure the seeds mature.

Hang on. Males don’t produce seeds they make pollen that makes a female plant produce seeds. To make seeds u have to collect pollen and put it on the pistils or let a male stay in room and pollen fly and get on the plants. Good luck with this making seeds ought to be fun but a pain in the ass to seperate a million seeds by hand lol

Well, that was my original question. No males present ever. All ILGM female photos. But if a plant produces seeds how viable if at all are they. And yes, that particular plant will require seed separation like the good ole days of bag weed.

If no males and I have seeds somewhere it was caused by a light leak for too long too many times stunted something had to of went wrong is there a six way in the area with a glowing light that will cause it to happen I’ve never heard of ilgm seeds germing unless there was a cause for it happening. On the seed part if no make was present it’s most likely a Hermie seed and will be a Hermie plant. Only dropping one or 2 to see what happens will tell u. Watch for banners if u do in flower that’s what will cause seeds if no males present
