It’s not uncommon at all for manufacturers to use big numbers that don’t really correspond with anything.
But the vs1000 is 100 watt, the vs2000 is 200 watt.
In the product description it will tell you actual power usage.

Yea, I thought I had something more. I just Googled and asked how many watts for that model. I thought the LEDs were giving me a boatload of watts at low input. Definitely learning today.
OK. I also have but not using a Vivosun VS1000E ( same light without a dimming switch ), and a Phlizon 60watt. I’m developing too many questions and will let you back in here. We are currently only seedlings. Suggestion?
I guess I don’t understand your question?
oh, the paramaters of is that enough for seedlings, has their growth been extremely stunted, do they really need all that light as babies? And I might not have permission for pics yet to show you. I can pump up the light and I’m pretty sure I can remove the heat, so, do they really need all that light right now, and would the consensus at this point be to follow thru with them, or clean the tent and start over smarter?
No the lights plenty for seedling and veg.
In flower and when the plants are mature is when you will want to blast them with more lighting.
No need to scrap anything or start over.
I would keep the light about 24 inches away at 75% this should be a safe place to start.
Update on my plants, 1 is doing well 1 still seems down. The plants just got done a light cycle when i took these pics but as you can see all my leaves and stems are extremely droopy. I did what you recommended auto, and let them dry for a week then began watering again. I also upgraded my light and have noticed that has helped some. My biggest plant seems to be doing well but the smaller one looks extremely droopy. I dont think its water issues at this point. This plant doesnt have as much soil as the biggest maybe 3/4 gallon difference in soil. I have been measuring runoff of each plant seperate. I have not used any ferts since the original post. My ppm on the small plant is 1400 which i know is high. My other plant is at 1100. Ph is 6 for runoff. Any advice? From what ive been reading maybe mag deficiency? But id like some input before i add mag. Thank yall!
What kind of soil you running? I would stick to 1/2 dose feedings until things look better and ppm comes down.
Temps and humidity look good?
Oceans forest. I havent fed nutes since my original post. In my notes 12/18 was the last time i used nutes.
Temp stays around 70-80. I try to keep humidity at 40-60%
Are you monitoring ph in the water you are feeding them?
80/60 is good.
How often are you watering? Are you letting the soil dry out some before watering again?
Yes i have been making sure to feed the water with a ph of 6-6.5. As well as test to make sure my runoff water is the same ph. Which it is. Ever since you told me to let them dry out i let fhem dry out for 6 days. I then watered til runoff, then same every 3-4 days. Before i water i pick the plants up and make sure they feel.light as well as use my finger and the first inch or so is dry.
Did they improve with the 6 days without water?
Your runoff is still 1,400?
2 did improve. (The first pic i posted today) but the one that is in the rest of the pics has still not improved. And yes. The plant we are talking about had 1400 ppm. My other plant the best growing one had a ppm of 1100.
Sounds to me you already answered your own question? Maybe water them very heavily until you have lower ppm?
Sounds like you have ppm stacking causing lockouts of nutrients, this type of problem will show up as (not enough nutrients) but in reality it’s so high locking the plant out.
Are you using fox farms trio?
When i did feed them, yes i used fox farms trio, only used big bloom and grow big at 1/4 strength. I just recently picked up cal mag as well but havent used it yet. I only fed them maybe twice the whole life of the plant. Would nute lockout still present problems even though ive watered with plain water 4 times since the last nute feeding? Thanks for all the responses and info man i really appreciate it.
What should my runoff ppm be normally? At what ppm should i add nutes?
It’s what this community is about brother, helping others. Iv been apart of Rollitup since 2012 and this is by far the best community Iv came across.
Hmmm, how often andow many times?
That doesn’t seem to me that would have caused any problems. Iv seen this with fox farms trio many times but not with only using it at 1/4 strength.
With what you have explained to me makes me think either ph problems or over watering.
Have you checked your meter to make sure it’s accurate? Apera makes a good solution to calibrate.
Ive only done used nutes twice and that was 2 weeks ago.
I have a meter for ph but it doesnt hold calibration very long. So ive been using ph strips and droplets.
Okay awesome! Thanks for the info!
