I need some advice.
My week old autos are doing poorly.
Coast of maine soil. 60% humidity.
Between 72-78 degrees
Ph of water 6.5
21 on 3 off light schedule.
Spider farmer lights. Powerful. Cant remeber which model. 700 something. Lights about 12 inches away at 45%.
Can anyone tell me what you think might be going on.

I think your light is too intense and too close, turn it down a little also it looks like you’re giving her too much water just based on the look of your soil. Try turning your light down and cut back on the amount of water and I think you’ll be fine. Download the photone app. as well, it will help you dial in your light.

Thank you very much! Downloaded the app. Gonna work on figuring her out. Turning the light down now and cutting back on the watering. I really appreciate it.

Woah, I am under-light feeding my plant. Just did the DLI calculation and I’m at 36.
Is there any knowledge on how UVB impacts this allotment?
Not in PAR but it burns plants good.

Piggybacking on what has been said. I do not think your light is too close only because I see no tacoing. The overwatering is prolly the issue. You should water at the perimeter of your pot, not right near the stalk. Make her roots go looking. Also, what is the frequency you give her water? Should be about 3-4 days between waterings. Here is a pic of a plant I overwatered even though I was not trying to, she just didn’t drink much when young.
The serrated edges of the leaves will turn yellow first and if overwatering continues, in essence she is drowing and the whole leaf will turn light yellow.

Thanks! I usually water everyday, but its a very small amount. I have several probes i use to check how wet the soil is. I will definetly water around the edges moving forward. That makes perfect sense. I did turn the lights down a bit and i also moved them up a bit. I hope they will turn the corner. I really appreciate the helpful information from you all. Thanks again.

This is what I was talking about. You do not water everyday regardless of amount. This will not clear up if you continue to. Overwatering is frequency, not amount. 1/2 gallon once slowly every 4 days is better than a “small amount” daily.
Not accurate growmie. Weight test is easiest method but it should always be Flood to Drought.

I am sure proper watering practices are outlined in Bergmans Grow Bible which is free from this site. Here is a link to an article. Should be legal to post since they are not selling anything.
