Plant stuck in clear / milky trichome stage

Trichromes are milky white and some still clear, majority of leaf is yellow, Some bud leaf is still green especially younger buds. How long does it take for milky trichomes to start turning amber? It’s been 3 weeks and Northern Lights have not used any water from auto pots. Plants seem dormant.

Maybe take a bud or two to sample the wares I did this on our outside grow towards the end to gauge the Buzz and It helped me deceide when to harvest.

That’s interesting that they haven’t used any water. I’d fill out a support ticket. As that will help others figure out what’s going on.

I did just that two weeks ago as of today and have been sampling the results. Moderate short term effects. Not sure if taking the buds early ended the maturing process of the remaining buds. Now buds are less sticky over the past week. I’m into the Northern Lights12th week and still no amber trichomes.

Thanks for your input.

I’ve had plants that I’ve have to let sit a couple of weeks extra waiting until I got the amber I wanted. Some plants can just be stubborn.

Three weeks is not very long. My grows seemed to always take 8 to 10 weeks.

The grow is at 12 weeks. The last 3 weeks the trichome stage has been stuck at the clear / milky stage. No change, still no amber trichomes

Thanks for the input. Northern Lights is entering the 13th week and no amber trichomes. I’ll take your advise and wait it out.

Patience. I grow NL auto as fillins. Love the strain. Give her some time. She is an indica so watch her. I tend to see my indica turn amber in days sometimes where the sativa dominants take their time. Just me. I highly doubt waiting a bit will hurt a thing. Improve it i think. Enjoy the NL. 1 of my favorites.
