Plant elevators

I was looking for a solution to raising fabric pots out of trays. Found Gro Pro Plant elevators on Amazon. Problem is they are $14.56 a piece. I found on another site for $1.66 a piece. But they charge for shipping. I ordered 10 at $1.66 each, plus shipping through UPS. Total for 10 $43.83. So I paid $4.38 a piece delivered. Just wanted to put this out for anyone looking for same

@Bulldognuts
I use milk crates and just cut them down. Perfect size for a 5 gall pot
Edit** sorry thought you were looking for recommendations lol

That’s a good idea. Can you buy crates somewhere. Never thought about it.

I’m not sure. I get milk deliveries weekly where I work so I just grab some . I’m guessing behind any supermarket all the panhandlers around here seem to find plenty :joy:

My luck, I would probably get arrested for stealing. LOL.

The 13 inch is good up to 7 gallon. They had larger ones for good price also. Not sure how much shipping would be.

I went to Dollar General and bought the little plant stands on rollers, so I could turn it without much trouble. Cost me $1.88 each. Worked beautifully. There is a Dollar General on almost every mile. lol So no shipping or waiting. They are metal with plastic rollers. :herb:

Once again, I didn’t think about checking DG. Checked Wallyworld and Home Improvement stores. Couldn’t find anything that would work for a reasonable price. Hopefully other people who have come up with solutions will post. I have been using cut up peices of 1/2 PVC pipe to keep pots above run off.

@Bulldognuts you local gardening supply center should have them. Home Depot and Walmart will have them when it’s in season. Also you can get them at local grow shop for same price.

Great if your in a bind and don’t want to make the drive anywhere tho

These are great, too! About $9 on Amazon and at a 10" diameter they fit nicely under a 5-gallon fabric pot which can then sit inside a 12" water dish to catch runoff so your plant isn’t sitting in a puddle and your grow tent stays tidy:
