I have perused attempts at germinating and growing a female “Schwag” seed many many many many times. Of the 9 plants I’ve grown and germinated, only 1 has shown and turned out to be female. (I really think it was the Superthrive I was giving it at transplant, too many hormones in the Superthrive).
I’m a little confused though because only after 28 days I’m getting pistols already.
I’m happy I finally grew a female, BUT isn’t it a little early for sexing?
This isn’t a complaint, I’m just nervous with it being in the same tent with my flowering girls.
Some plants will go preflower in a 18 hour light cycle possibly more but I have only used a 18 but yeah they’ll preflower and in my experience they’ll just about stop growing even when you go to 12s it will probably only stretch like 3-6" but it will have flowers in a damn week because it’s ready. I’ve only had i think 4 in my three years inside but a dozen over the years outside I have even thought a few were autos but none were supposed to be
Funny to think you never know what you’re going
to get with street seed. I was hoping for a full 40-50 days of veg for this girl but it seems that’s not going to happen.
I’ll let it go for another week and if there it’s no growth or size difference I’ll throw it into the 12/12 tent with the others. Maybe I’ll get a midget bud plant. Lol
It’s any seeds you have to look at plants like people just because 5 people have the same parents doesn’t mean they will look the same might not be the same color size shapes even a little person could be part of the family. It’s a DNA thing so they should look and grow a little bit alike but no promise lol
