I have a plant that I think is in need of a K boost? I have over top dressed and created a lockout with a number of dressings. I have stopped and flushed. Seems to be really slowly getting better after thinking I needed a number nutrients. Overall was kind of yellowish before the flush. The flower pistils don’t seem as robust as I have experienced in the past. There is an overall brownish edging that is very subtle in the upper leaves. Not sure if she has been stunted or not? Been just using Botanical Bloom with Cal Mag combo and trying not to overwater. Any body out there have some info?
Could you post more pix of the leaves?
That meristem shows you need more sulfur
Langbeinite a good form to use.
That will work for slow release. Potassium Sulfate is fast. Gypsum is fast. The fast are in the form of sulfates.
Sulfates have 2 extra O so they are already in oxidized form.
I amped up my Botanicare Pure Blend Pro…she is responding well. I have been a little timid because of the lockout. Going to step it up now. I did add Gypsum into my last topping when I was going crazy. Can I dissolve D T Earth Gypsum for a faster working solution or is dry fast enough working?
Pictures of leaves coming, I get that this is the other half of what needs to be looked at by people that know more than I. Thank you for your input. I get so overreactive with this shit sometimes. Still learning.
So here are the leaves and my best guess was mostly K lacking. There might have been some N issues and Mag issues from the lock out 3 weeks earlier?
Dry unless doing a foliar
Those yellow leaves are just old and have been used up by the plant.
Got it and did it already. The last of the primary palm leaves. She is moving on.
Thank you for all the help.
