Pin holes and zip leaks

so here we go again started a new grow so 3 months or more of the best labour of love there is
so I moved my grow tent from doing 1 at my friends place because i was in process of moving and I noticed I can see loads of pin hole size light leaks on my tent now there always was a couple but after taking it down and moved it they multiplied by a lot and the 1 of the zips seems to be letting some light out from where the stitching must of got a bit weaker, has anyone had this problem will it have a affect when I switch to flower ??
I going to get some tape and try cover as many up as possible and cover the zipper up so no leaks I think I have nearly got my room dark
that the tent sits in the day time to when the lights are off but I still worry will this be a problem I can’t afford new tent this time round

small leaks are not a major problem.

use duct tape for quickie repairs.

Ok thanks
I think taking down and putting the tent back up more and more leads to wear and tear time to invest in a new 1 after this run
maybe I won’t try cutting corners and going for the cheap option of eBay same as anything in life you get what you.pay for and quality cost

@g-reg I think no matter where you order from, in the same price range it’ll be the same quality. Unless you pay big money for a gorilla tent or other big name brand. Duct tape will work just fine.

@Covertgrower as your user name is I think I fix up this tent with tape and use it for the covert grows I put on round friends and invest on a new 1 like the 1 you mentioned gorilla tent or budbox for personal grows
I do this as a hobby but it also earns me some £££ or $$$ even to so I get best of both worlds

I got you, @g-reg but really, even the cheap ones work the same as the expensive ones. The only reason why they’re more expensive is a few extra nice features. Extra height really isn’t necessary unless you have adequate light to begin with.

@Covertgrower height isn’t a issue with me I scrog I keep tucking in till the stretch is over so I don’t really get no more than 1ft and half higher than the nets and still have maybe a foot or two left I could raise my lights if it was needed, I hear what your saying about how the cheap ones work just as well, I had a few runs runs out the 1 I’m using 240x120x200 I use 2 600w hps and average around 30 oz from them , anyways happy growing I always get this little niggling inside when a start a new 1 I’m in seedling stage still be 5 days young Friday (today) hate this part just want to get hands on

A tent with extra height wouldn’t justify the cost definitely in your case. @g-reg

its not so much the hieght its the quality i was thinking about but i think i just go with another cheap 1, anyway change subject now I’m doing 4 different genes this time I normally try to keep same genes in same grow space but I had some seeds that wanted using up and freebies to 1 of them is green crack by Humboldt seeds I never used this breeder before you have any idea on the genetics are they rated as first time I herd of them
