Im reading alot on how to do this. Its a big learning curve. Im just afraid of doing something wrong and theres not much info on growing in plain fertilized dirt outdoors in pots. Its mostly all Hydo information which is okay. But i dont want to confuse the 2.

I understand. I dont have any picks to show on that. So if you were setting a snare to catch an animal you would bend a branch to give it tention. Tie a piece of string two or three nodes from the top and pull down on the string so the plant bends. You gotta have a way to stake it down or tie it off to hold the plant in the bent position . thats it. Leave it bent over. Your plant will respond with new growth.

Awsome information, thank you. Ive been reading up on this. I wasn’t sure if I was seeing it correctly though. I think its to early to do anything with it yet. Its only showing 2 full sets of leaves. 2 nodes then, correct? Ill wait for another one before i do this.

Ya, its to small yet. I had your plants mistaken. I thought they were the tall skinny ones in that other pick. You can tol that one in awhile if you want too. I just dont even try to top an auto flower. They always stop growing when i do. Thats a young one. You got a couple weeks to decide✌

I dont think this is an auto. Its from a plain old bag of weed i bought from a freind in 2017. Its not even a photo period or is it?
What are you feeding it? Thats good its a photo. Hopefully its a girl. Youll know soon enough.

Okay, so niw i know, its a photo period. Im feeding it a composte tea i made and i have Dyna Grow Foliage pro 9-3-6. Should i be using something different? I have that Advanced Nutrients Grow, Micro, Bloom set that i purchased before i knew it was for Hydroponics. What is the best fertilizer for growing how i do, outdoors in pots?
I have a few others growing that arent as big also. Im hoping its a female also because its my biggest one.

Funny thing, males typically grow faster than females. If you have one way bigger than the rest it will probably be the male. You never know though, could be a big girl.
I use jacks. Its easy and works great. They have all kinds, i use petunia feed through veg and bloom booster for flowering. I also do compost tea. I use it in conjunction with the jacks. I give tea about once a month, jacks the rest of the time never over recommended amount. I grow outdoor in pots too.
I just purchased the 25lb bag of jacks high performance feed. It was close to the npk numbers on the petunia feed. They will get this all year, till bloom anyway.

25lb at 80 bucks was like 3.50 a lb. If you buy the 4lb bucket which i have done in the past its 10.00 a lb. Big savings if you can buy that much at once. Jacks fertilizer.

Thank you… ill give this a try since your growing how i do. Sounds reasonable in price also. My biggest one got a head start. Thats why its bigger. Theres still hope.

Okay, i got it on order. Jacks petunia feed and blossom booster. I got a bag of root enhancer too. Mycorrizhe. This clearly should help my grow. Thank-you a ton!

Im cant bring myself to purchase some of these more expensive products. That jacks works on everything. I feed my flower beds and veggie plants with it. 
i do start at half strength and gradually increase on my mj plants. When they get bigger they can take more. I still like the saying " less is more" when it comes to ferts.
I use mycorrhizae as well. Mostly in the hole when i transplant. Sometimes in my compost tea.

I was recommended that stuff for the transplant but it didn’t work out in time.
Are you positive this Jacks fertilizer isnt like Miracle-Gro? Because i burned up a few seedlings with the stuff before…lol

Ya, no. Not like miricale grow. It looks the same, but this stuff works. Ive been useing it for 2 years and havent burned a leaf with it

Ive got about a week before the Jacks petunia feed shows up so, is it safe to double up on the Dyna Grow Foliage pro 9-3-6 in the meanwhile?

Its still a very young plant, they dont need much for ferts till later. I would just give water til then.
I definitly wouldnt " double " anything. Less is more. Maybe a half dose of something if you must put something.

Okay, i got it. Ill water it with some of the composte tea i made. I dont water it completely with the tea. I pour water then a little tea then more water until i know im going to get run of a little.

Nice, i like to water till i see runoff as well. Im a bit careful on over watering, especially when there young. You dont want to over water. Let them dry out in-between waterings. I like to feel the pots weight. If its heavy or lite.

Yes, this is what im gaining. Im letting it dry out right now. The top is dry and the dirt at the outer rim of the pot is dry but its still wet under the leaves in towards the stalk so im giving it more time. I just had to water my other seedlings though. They’re on a different time schedule.
