PH up EC slow to go down

I am about 5 weeks into my 12/12 light cycle. Feeding PH5.8 and EC 1.6. Run off is PH 6.5-6.7. EC is slow to come down. Like about 0.2 every water. I am feeding nutes every 3rd day with PH 5.8 water and CalMag for 1st and 2nd day.
Am i doing something wrong?
Plant looks good thought.

Are you growing in soil or coco? Your input PH is for coco and your run off is soil? They’re definitely not hungry the minimal change in run off is evident as well as the overly dark green, waxy leaves…you’re pushing her limits on nitrogen :love_you_gesture:

Thanks for the reply Bro. So maybe amend my nutes with less nitrogen is the way forward. Im just worried that nutes uptake in general is low and the plant is missing out

I’m a little confused by the runoff with you being in coco and having no ph buffers in the medium. But the plant looks like it’s thriving. So keep doing what you’re doing.

It had me confused too Mate. However previously i fed at PH5.8 and was getting PH6.3 with about EC0.4 uptake when feeding nutes daily but EC levels started increasing so backed off daily feeding and only fed when EC dropped below 1.0
Buds are sticky as, plant going gang busters. Was just nervous it was gonna all fall apart

The nutrients remaining in the medium must be buffering the input feed.

Ok so a flush may be the way to go?

What nutrient line are you using?
Are you following its recommended bloom stage schedule?
Are you adding microbes?

My recent experience is this: I’m surprised by how little a flowering plant needs in terms of EC / PPM with a good productive microbe load in place. I am feeding 1000 ppm or a little less daily. I also water before feeding. Sounds crazy but this is what has worked for my current and prior grow.
ps
coco with perlite
Jacks
tribus
some advanced nutrient supplements

Your plants look very happy , my 1st thoughts would be Verify conductivity meter in a standard solution. Good luck :v:

With the combination of nutrients and microbes I use my runoff pH will push 6.8. I am still trying to figure out why but the consensus leads me to the microbes. Their effectiveness in doing their job apparently pushes pH up. I do run into issues if I allow it to stay that high. I have found that if I water first and follow that with 5.7 - 5.8 nutrient feed, I am able to keep pH in 6.3 - 6.4 range. Since the plants are well into flower they do well with that pH range.
