What is the perfect ph water for germination of seeds to be grown outdoors? Is distilled water good or should i adjust the ph to a certain range?

Ok. I keep hearing mention of ph water. Not sure what that means. Figured it was just water ph’d to a certain range. Ive always used tap water with the paper towel method but was gonna try just the water in a glass method this time. Anyone have a definition of what ph water is?
You will want to ph your water when in veg and flower. Plants uptake nutrients through a certain range. PH is
A measure of acidity or alkalinity of water soluble substances (pH stands for ‘potential of Hydrogen’). A pH value is a number from 1 to 14, with 7 as the middle (neutral) point.
Cannabis in soil uptake nutrients in a 6.0-7.0 range and in hydro/soilless medium in a 5.5-6.5 range. Anything outside those ranges can cause problems/lockouts ect.

Yeah i know what ph means. Im saying i keep hearing mention of ph water specifically. As if ph water is something people use. Just thought maybe it was something i should look into. Or perhaps someting i should buy if recommended.
I believe the term “pH water” just refers to tap water or well water pH to a certain number. I grow in soil so I shot for 6.3-6.8 I try to hit 6.5 for whenever I water. I also pH the water when adding nutrients.

Welcome to the forum @Drillbit Once your seeds break ground. Any water or nutrients given to the plant should be ph’d to 6.2 to 6.8
If the ph gets out of range it can cause some serious problems if not brought in check.
There are growers on here that do ph the water they germinate seeds with or you have growers that use distilled water … or you have growers that use tap water. The choice is yours there. But once they break ground its a very important part of growing … in any medium.

The only question i have is are you going directly into the soil or will you ne using pots
If you going into the soil you might wish to do a slurry test on the soil first just a suggestion

For best results you should definitely PH your water. But it is not necessary. There is no PH done in nature. The plant has the ability to buffer the water it needs naturally. If you plan on feeding nutrients then you definitely need to. But I’ve done a grow straight tap water without PH.
Also if doing Recycled Living Organic Soil, there is no need to PH your water.
