Hey friends-
Who was it that said necessity is the mother of invention. I have been misting my soil daily and I try to be careful, but I always seem to get a leaf or two wet. I was drying them off with a paper towel, but have found that is not as effective as I thought. So, I have come up with another idea that does work. My babies are still small so I took my cutoff 2 liter soda bottles that I used for domes and put them over the plants to act as an umbrella. Works great. Just thought I would pass that on. Use a baster for doing turkeys in the oven, or get ablarge syringe. Put the water where you want it.

Not much to report here. The plants have not done much growing. Even though I followed that soil recipe to the letter something isnāt right. The soil has too much aeration in it. The top of the plants are a healthy green that you look for. Weāll just keep perking along. All I can do. But if they donāt get going soon, I will run out of medicine. Hey kaptain-
I am fixing to put mulch down and wondered if anyone had ever used cedar chips (like a hamster or gerbil bedding) for mulch. Bug resistant and shouldnāt break down much, and if it does that should be good for the plants. I dont want to buy a bail of hay when I only need a few handfuls. I did leaves last time and hoppie told me how to prep them. I wanted to use something different this time. Any suggestions?
I had a nap now Iām at the part about the toenail. BTW So sorry you had to go thru that, I know itās just small, a toenail, but it feels like your whole foot, takes what seems like forever to grow back. My sympathies. Done talking about that now, I know it just freshens the memory. So RIP big toenail.

Thanks, Iāll read that next. My 2 girls are producing pistils, at first I thought they were roots. Like why are roots growing out of the top of the plant, I thought it was just one but both are doing it, I need another week before I flip them to flower. Thereās pics on My Leaves or
I ordered another ph tester should be here Wednesday, I shorted them on water (probably my worst idea yet) so I can test the runoff Weds or Thurs. I need to clean Sprout (not pictured) up, sheās way too full/bushy and Clara needs another week I think to grow up a little more. Canāt wait for that tester,

The plant is telling you sheās a female. Those little hairs in the photo with your thumb in it. Its hard for me to describe in words. You can download Robertās grow guide and I am sure it will tell you about how to tell the sex of the plant. Usually its a couple of hairs that will stick out of the stem at a node (where two stems are branching out). Just like in the animal world, in our case you donāt want to see balls, signifying a male plant that you would want to get rid of asap or it will fertilize all of your crop. Seeds are bad, unless you are a breeder or you are developing a new strain. They look good! Keep up the good work. Peaceā¦
Thanks, not a breeder, at least not yet, gonna get good at just growing first, and then Iāll work on the super buds that all you guys produce. I will need some guidance from you probably around 3rd grow as you know what strains are good for pain relief, I have a couple friends who are med patients that I want something to kick painās ass out the door, and for me also. Since what you are going thru is much worse than what I deal with I figure you got info that I need. Iām tired of being in pain all the time and I would like to sleep. Like for the whole night. I currently live on 1 1/2 hour naps whenever I can get them.
