Organic soil growers mosh pit collective of peeps

A more rudimentary question if you will… I’m getting ready to flip my 15g BAS containers to flower on my second grow. I felt like last grow, I waited too long before using teas (or some other amendments) as I started to see some deficiencies in early flower. How do I determine the best way to get ahead of the nutrient demand heading into flower? Is it a veg tea or flower tea? Before reading your post I didn’t know there were different types of teas based on grow stage. Thanks in advance!

Top dressing for stage a couple weeks ahead. I top before transition and again wk1, with extra Ca to account for trans depletion and the demand wk 2.5. Using Langbenite in top will account for Mg wk 3 demand. If demand are higher then add pinch Epson. I Top agin wk6 assuming 10 wk strain.

It would be a veg microbial brew through trans into wk1-2 depending. Flowering they prefer to be fungal dom. Fungal takes time, so hang the fungal compost 12-24 hrs before 45 hr aeration. Add fungal based foods (fish, kelp, soy, oatmeal or wheat bran, rock dust or pinch sea salt). Without a scope you won’t see the hypha but assume 45 and use by 48.

Edit: I found this to be helpful to know demand increases so I know when to add additional to my premix in advance.

Just started flower and curious what might be beneficial for teas as I get closer to harvest. I’m brewing a tea now with oatmeal, BAS Build-a-Bloom, charred wood, BAS craft blend, fresh chopped aloe and worm compost from worm bin.

Obviously since I’m in flower I wanna focus on the P and K right now so curious what all I could add as I get further along into flower??? I’m coming up on week 2 after flip and growing in Living Soil (Build a Soil 3).

First time growing living soil and loving it so far!!!

Is chelated nutrition for immediate availability

CB - Very low solubility, better for top dress

I’d get some potassium sulfate to bump the BaB. Top with CB. Teas are less about nutrition and more about natural humics, microbes & fungi. Soil food web

Awesome thank you for the info. I had been using CB as top dress but figured I could throw a spoonful in with the tea. Good to know it won’t brew. I’ll continue adding as top dress periodically.
I was thinking about maybe banana tea for added potassium. Good idea or not much benefit???

Certainly won’t hurt but minuscule help.

Depends what you make honestly. I’ve seen some janky stuff floating around. If it smells bad dump it in toilet. I make a ferment with LABs.

I am unfamiliar. Is there a link or post somewhere around that explains more???

A bugs life
My living soil tonight
Several types of spider mites.
They came from my worm bin and they are the good ones.
One is a predatory mite the other eats dead stuff.
Also some springtails
