New adventure here. Journal for learning experience. New grow with Chemdawg, Skywalker, and Black Widow, all high THC strains with CBD, it seems the higher THC delivers the CBD to relieve pain way better than just straight CBD. This is a new grow using all organics. Foxfarm Ocean Forest was the soil before, now I am going to see if organics will deliver better smoke. I am old school and back in the 70’s we would roll doobies in a tray with the seeds falling to the bottom, on ounce was 20 bucks and you used four fingers to gauge it. haha. So I like to smoke flower the best and like to go for the best taste. I do make the canna caps and make them pretty strong. Anyone tells you pot don’t help pain is lying to you, I know first hand it does. Anyone can chime in with pics, conversation, opinions, and advice with no discrimination from me. I want to learn as much as I can with the short time I have left on this earth.
Anyone that has past experience with Roots Organics Potting Soil and their nutrient line please let me know how it went any advice you can give me. I have some pics here. Dropped 3 seeds in RO water with a drop of hydrogen peroxide.
I’m only on my first grow but am willing to share what I believe I learned and answer any questions. I’m using ProMix with the Roots Organic 5ml line. Next grow…First I’m going to start feeding in small quantities a lot earlier. I think my grow was lengthened and plant health was put in jeapordy because I did not realize ProMix had very little to give the plants. Second I’m going to use less than the full recommended dosage. I got nutrient lock and one of my plants had run off of over 3k. I’m going to make sure to add moisture to run off at each session and test ppm and pH (not sure if this is just good practice or had to do with my set up). Ph going in should be between 5.8-6.2. Even though Roots does not call for it, I’m going to be prepared to flush at the transition to 12/12.
Take my ramblings of those of a first time grower. I’m going to use Roots again, I just need to dial in how I use them. I think a lot of the issues where not having any experience.
@Killadruid uses Roots also and has had great grows.

If I missed your tag don’t worry, it is probably because I just smoked one. Blame it on that sourhead strain I grew last time. Well here is a pic of the nutrient line, I don’t know the scientific’s about it but all I know is that the horticulture guy said this is the best and this is all I need for a complete organic grow.
