What y’all think? Take the big fan leafs off? I’m tucking them currently…everybody says different. What y’all think about these autos at 40 days … Not sure if I de leaf some it will slow them? They are really hauling ass , but a little thick
To defol or not to defol- the debate rages on… regardless of what you choose you have some beautiful looking planties!!! Me I’m a plucker lol. Good luck!!

I just don’t know… for a year I have been… And sometimes I just think I do to much and get carried a away. This is the first time I haven’t … And they seem super powerful and sucking good. Feed every 2 days in 5 gallon. And they are just so complex and branchy… I’m curious what happens if you don’t de leaf at all… Ya of course some stuff in dense and dark inside… But still growing more or less … question is what does the extra leaf matter do to the really exposed buds? Thoughts are good… Thank you
Like once you pop you can’t stop… Same goes for de leafing … at least for me
I leave leaf a lot, but 2 weeks into flower I start on top a little at a time to open the canopy, then pick here and there over the next couple weeks, but I still leave tons, happy bushes have lots of healthy flowers. Looking fantastic my friend, keep up the good work. 
Wow good feed back. This is my 6th grow … little over a year with living soil and autos.
I deleafed them very good by this time and stage… And for first time I havent… Was hoping for more stretch but not thinking so at this point. Ok… Well I guess I’ll leave lots whatever happens .
I pull only a few of the bottom most in full shade up until flower.
Then GRADUALLY pull a few above that until full flower with only 4 or 5 weeks left then pull the remaining bottom 1/3.
I’d say they seem like they open and stretch a little each day even with all the leaves… So I’m just stumped … maybe just good to see what happens with keeping way more leaves on
Some of your girls are about 3 week’s into flower and that is when they stop stretching and build bulk, a couple look a little behind and still in the streach, you got some decent bushes and you can pluck for days and still have ton of leafs lol your going to have a hell of a yield on them girls
Good perspective… Ya at this point I don’t really care if some lower buds don’t get light!!! I don’t smoke and just eat edibles… So I’ll eat the larf and give friends the big girls for puffing … I also have a rosin press and eat rosin.
Larf is 1/3 of my harvest and it smokes just fine. I am a unlucky person who is genetically unable to get high from eating eatables, I can eat all I want to no end lol smoking works great gotta run I will check back with you later man have a great day

All good suggestions and I’m a lot like @Dennis62 and pluck from the top down any leaves that are blocking lower buds and do so throughout the grow. I do lollipop the lower 1/3. How much I take from the overall plant depends on my grow space RH, air circulation and light penetration 
Me personally i would open her up to allow for more air flow and light
Thanks Aussie… Just curious. These are like 2 to 3 weeks into flower. When would you all start? Now or earlier?
The last thing you want is mold so i would defoliate abit to allow better air and better light penetration and u want to increase ur air flow specially if you only have one clip on fan u will want to get another clip on fan run two
Hey man I agree with the others the bad thing about the leaf is the air flow and mold, been there. Open enough to get air into the lower stuff, and lots of fans lol. Merry Christmas my friend

I’m on the defoliate side of things. I take leaves whenever I need to for light and air flow issues. I do a pretty major defoliation on days 21 and 42 of flower too. Whatever you decide to do make sure all the bud sites are getting light and there’s air flow around all the buds.
