Right so, you’ve all seen me mashing buttons and randomly throwing up topics and what not, I figured it’d be cool to show y’all some of my goings on.
Disclaimer: I don’t have the best setups and whatnot, I work with what I can, and most of what I do is for science - I don’t mind experimenting as I am not super focused on yield etc.
So what I’ve been doing this year is growing Gooseberry Syrup Autos (I got the seeds from our mock-up grow-course). I put them in some soil and then headed off on the Home Grow Tour for a stint. I managed to keep them alive (that’s a whole 'nother story) and brutally MST’d them (moderate stress training or mangled stress training - basically making sure they didn’t kiss the light in my small tent). They turned out well and yielded nicely - relatively speaking (that’s the jar pic).
I then went on and germinated a bunch more beans and got a nice mix of Gelato Sunrise (fem), Girl Scout Cookie Extreme (fem), Yuzu Euphoria Auto and Purple Punch Auto. The autos have been cut and dried and are waiting for a final dry trim (I wet-trimmed them pretty thoroughly so it should be light work).
The Gelato Sunrise and Girl Scout Cookies Extreme went straight into the ground in my pollinator garden, where after being shaded out by weeds and pollinator friendly flowers they quietly grew into monsters (the selfie with the trees) and three of them I threw into pots (the pic with the two plants on the garden table and my cat awing at 'em - one of them not in frame).
I then germinated 10 89 Green Bodhi Northern Lights 5 Bx just to sex them and find some males - while simultaneously germinating 5 Terp Sneeze Autos. This is my foray into breeding (as mentioned in another topic - mind you this is unofficial business, though we are working on stuff as a company too). (the tent pic is the sex tent - the closet pic are the Terp Sneezes). One of the Terp Sneeze phenos is crazy and was kissing the light so I crudely bent/broke the leader - let’s hope it lives). These will be the receiving females, as well as one of the outdoor ones (Girl Scout Cookies Extreme - those are the larger outdoor ones and the one in the bigger pot on the table).
I found the first Northern Lights Bx male in the sex tent (the pictures with the balls) - so we’re on track to start cooking.
