I’m gonna tag an awesome auto grower: @Not2SureYet. He may 'splain.

Thank you

She’s ready for training if you want, but she also looks like she’ll be a nice bushy grower on her own. So you can bend her over if you want to avoid the one really tall main cola, but you can also choose to just do some leaf tucking to expose the growth shoots to more light. If she were mine, I’d probably watch the shoot development for a few more days before I bent her.

I would ask what you are growing in. Soil or coco. And what would you like the plant to look like in the end. I would say you could lst. but she is still small. Are you looking for one big cola or a more even plant. I top every thing, so every one gets a reasonable even amount of light. Another week or so and she should start filling out. She is looking good :+1:

Im growing in soil fox farm ocean forest. Really im new at this so i wanna learn and get the most out of it as i can. Thank you

This may be some one that can help you out some then. I have never been in soil. And can get away with a lot more being in coco. @blackthumbbetty, and advise here

I haven’t grown in plain soil in many, many grows. Definitely not my thing. I do not like hot mediums.

As for lst, I start training autos at around day 19 from germination.

Hiw much could it produce without lst training .

It’s way too tough to predict yield with SO many variables, but my first ever grow was 6 plants. Three White Widows and three OG Kush, and my total dry weight was just over 17 oz, so I got just under 3oz per plant. It might actually be best for you to let your first plant grow out naturally, so you can see how they grow. Then when you start training your next one, you’ll have a much clearer picture in your mind of the effects your training is having. To be honest, the first training I did I just copied what I saw online, but I didn’t truly understand why I was doing it until I saw how the plant responded, and how you can absolutely shape them how you want.

I am with @Cap_Ron. I would just start growing it. As it gets bigger, You can then see what branches to tie down to open it a little. You put no stress on the plant and still get some hands on with it. And should still get a good yield with it.

Okay 1 more question i checked my run off ppm and it was 796 . im using fox farm nutrients and cal mag do i use all 4 or do i gotta keep something out ? Or shoukd i hold off on the feeding . im so new at it . and when it goes into flower what do i cut out. Thanks

With plants that age in Fox Farm Ocean Forest you probably shouldn’t be feeding anything just yet unless you notice they need something specifically. Fox Farm has a feeding schedule for soil on their website, but be very careful with the amounts they tell you to use. I started out using less than half of the amounts on the schedule, and I still fed too much and burned my plants a couple of times.
