Did you cure it properly, or just dry it and smoke it?

Flushing, drying and curing incorrectly would be the common reasons for bad taste. Some claim that the type of lighting and nutrients you use can effect flavor. Disease, mold and rot will ruin flavor as well and sometimes are hard to spot if you dont know what youre looking for. Would probably need more info on how you handled your plants before I could say for sure.
