Nutrients of choice growing in coco?

What are you guys using for nutes in coco? I currently grow with Advanced Nutrients and trying to see what the consensus is here.

@MattyBear might help with this one. He grows in coco.
I have the Canna nutrient line, for soil, hydro and coco. I haven’t used the coco yet.

Right now, I’m using CX Horticulture coco nutrients. I’ve used a lot of brands in the past as well, but never AN nutrients. GH is cheap and widely used. Cheapest would be Jack’s 3-2-1 supplemented with Epsom salts and calmag. It’s all gonna come down to personal preference and ease of use. I don’t like having to mix a bunch of different bottles so ease of use is a huge factor for me. :v::bear:

I like advanced nutrients so far but pricey. I’ve just used the base sensi coco grow and bloom, I’m not sure about all the add ins? Any advice on that? Looking for quality of finished product and hoping AN delivers, I’ve heard good things so we will see. A new grower like myself can over think things at times and dont need to be throwing money around at the Wimbledon. Thanks

Only add ons I use are Rhino skin throughout the grow and big bud during flowering. I was very happy with the outcome of my last grow ( I didn’t use rhino skin on that grow to stiffen up the stalks and they folded over on me and broke a few branches)

They are a bit pricey . I shop around online and my local hydro store will usually match the price . I get a bottle of A&B coco for 12$ a piece. Add ons are a bit tougher to find cheap.

Do you grow in coco? I’ve heard alot of good on the big bud. Does it add alot yo your overall PPM?

Yes exclusively coco. I may try hydro someday. I’ve never grown without using big bud so I can’t compare with and without but had some nice buds once I stopped messing with bag seed and got some ILGM genetics. Honestly I never really pay attention to ppm once they get to mid veg. I just use the dosing chart and watch the plant for signs. The great part about coco is you can correct things quickly with a Good flush

Thank you, I’m sure I will be asking you questions in the future. I would like to try an all organic living soil grow sometime but for now I am all in on coco. I like the fact I can fix things fast if need be in coco. Thanks again.

Which feeding schedule do you use?

Recirculating?

Drain to waste?

And which line flora maxi cocotek?

In coco I would be using a DTW schedule if one wasn’t specific for media. I follow the ratios but mix lower solution concentration than the schedule calls out: most of veg I was 700 ppm and I’ll likely not go over 1,100 ppm in peak demand flower.

This is what I use although I use the full line.

Which COCO do you recommend? I’m going to be starting new seedlings soon and I’ve been in jungle growth soil with perilite at a 70/30 ratio.

I start my seeds in rapid rooters after the 24 hr soak . Once I get a tap root I move it to a solo cup or 1 gallon fabric pot. I prefer to use Canna Coco in the bag. It’s prebuffered so you don’t technically have to pre charge it will cal/mag. I do any way prior to transplant

Anything to know and do going from soil to coco? I plan of the next run being coco and jacks 321

Just remember that Coco is hydro . Once a root system is established I Feed at every watering multiple times a day. (Some allow it to dry out. I tried the dry out method at first and ran into deficiencies.)

Hey just currious. Do you amend your coco or just do straight coco and ph perfect nutes no adjusting?
