Started with Fox Farm ocean Forest potting soil. Added some perlite and organic matter earthworms castings. Also every other watering I use a tablespoons per gallon of water of the EM1 microbial inoculant. 4 newts I also use the fox farm lineup just the basic organic plant food. In the beginning is liquid plant food Big Bloom through veggie I use Fox Farm liquid plant food grow big and then through flower I use extra strength fertilizer tiger bloom… Big Bloom has a zero 0.5 0.7 then grow big has 6 4 4 and finally tiger bloom has 2 8 4… . I test regularly for pH which is a good indicator of how your newts are doing along with testing periodically for nitrogen phosphorus and potassium. Once in a great while I’ll throw some calmag in my feed or more over Epsom salts with activated charcoal for the garden specifically organic material. Seems to do well for me
Thanks for posting this. I use GH nutes and love them, but pricey compared to powered nutes. Jacks looks great from what I saw in the video. (Plus Mr. GG shows the numbers and logic for his choices which I appreciate). One 25 pound bag of Jacks Hydro gets you 3000+ gallons! If the numbers represented by GG are accurate, and he claims many grows with it, then it is a serious candidate to replace my liquid nutes.
I would suggest going to his actual youtube channel and comb through his videos. He does really really well and makes killer videos.

There are AT LEAST 5 videos where he goes into great detail. I watched them all from the beginning of his channel… It has evolved somewhat since the beginning… He’s tried a few things and pruned it down to a few extras on top of Jacks, and that’s it…
Yes… you could do worse than to work your way through every video on that channel…
@imSICKkid funny you say that. I grow hydro but was telling a soil grower that same thing. He had gotten locked out using a different nutrient line and didn’t know how important ph was and was blaming his problems on the nutrients. He had changed lines like 3 times.
I love General hydro flora series. I add armor si and koolbloom in flowering. Epsom salt instead of calmag because I use tap water that is high in calcium.

I experiment a lot with nutes. Ive used FF with the three powdered supplements. Ive used AN line up micro,grow,bloom, big bud, bud candy,b-12, over drive, voodoo juice. Ive used NFTG. And I’ve used mega crop,sweet candy and bud explosion. Whew ok ithink that’s it… oh cant forget grower recharge, Azos and mycos
I’ve used a few things but I like the base nutes of general hydroponics FloraNova series it’s got a grow and a bloom has all macros and micros in small amounts and I supplements with GH calimagic and beneficial bacterial products like microbe life foliar spray and root dip …has… humic acid , mycos , basilius bacteria, rare earth, photosynthetic bacteria … and with every water I use a half a cap full of slf 100 which is a enzyme based flush product…it helps prevent build up of salt if your using synthetics such as the flora nova series … I also supplement with bud candy which has your carbs and glucose a bunch of other beneficial micro building blocks often looked over bud candy is manufacture remembers first 6 weeks of flower but its helpful throughout grow … feed your soil it’s what makes your nutes able to be taken up …I’m lucky the my ph isn’t a problem all my nutes are compatible I know this cuz I had lockout out once I started using silica in larger amounts armour si from gh raises you ph and since I dont use up or down I cant use it… I’m growing 2 foot or less so I shouldn’t have a problem with weak branches in my perpetual… plus one less expense bud cany and I finish with slf 100 and flawless finish which is a cheated magnesium that feeds the plant while stripping it of nasty nutes u want gone and your leaves stay greener through harvest instead of plain tap water and starving the plant when it’s trying its last chance to fatten up

Do you mean that it can be used for the entire grow? I used it for the first 6 weeks of flower per instructions, its safe/beneficial to use beyond weekd 6 which I think is what you are saying?
How exactly are you using slf and Flawless, I’ve been using slf since the very start I like it quite a bit.
Can you clarify the flushing process w Flawless finish, how do you use it? What happens after you flush w Flawless, do you go back and start feeding nutes? I did not feed anything to my girls last time after I flushed them and being a noob flushed too early to boot so they starved for a good while, dont want to do that again this time around.

Been using MC (intermittently) in this grow along w the FF grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom and also ff powder trio open sesame etc. in flower stage. CaliMagic & SLF from day one just about uninterruptedly.

Basically finishing some of the ff stuff I have from last grow but MC is gonna be used more in my next grow. Got a few bags of it now as I am using it outside w my tomato plants 
@Blizzy138, I was just looking over your grow journal, what are your thoughts on Advanced Nutrients that you used in that grow compared to mega crop? Anything drastically different in use and results?
Seen a few people mention the mycos & azos as well
AN is good stuff. I can’t knock them at all. Mega crop in my opinion is better due to ease of use. The final product i would have to give to mega also. But i do mix in some NFTG HH in the late stages of flower.
Mycos and azos i use to transplant with when going from red cup to pots. It definitely makes a difference.

NFTG= NECTAR FOR THE GODS HH= HECULEAN HARVEST. It’s liquid bone meal helps with flavor and density. And ask away that how you learn. I’m no expert tho I’m still learning myself.
