im using jacks 321 and am mixing up a calmag feed which i guess would be the epsom salt and jacks part b…do i need to ph this? using distilled water and i cant seem to get ph correct, itll be around 7 after mixing but the tiniest drop of ph down drops it below 5
Is there any reason you arent mixing all 3 part A part B and Epson and yes you need to ph before giving it to the plants what growing medium are you using?
soil, im in fox farms happy frog, they are 4 weeks old and no feedings yet, everything is good besides i seem to have a lack of calcium in 1 of my girls
Distilled water has no minerals in it so you won’t be able to get a good pH reading
Distilled water will take on ph of its surrounding hosts. Myself, I wouldn’t use it, but I know some do.
The lower the parts per million in the solution the more Ph up/down will effect it.
A full dose of Jacks 321 at full strength is still a low ppm solution. So I would not worry about watering with the full mix even in brand new soil. Yours is a month old so I would just feed it a full dose.
Would like to see a pic of your problem.
At 4 weeks old thay soil will soon become depleted of the nutrients that are in it id recommend starting Jacks 321 at half strength and increasing over the next fouple weeks have you taken a ppm reading of your run off yet once you hit 1000 or below you want to start feedins
