So yesterday after removing a few girls from the tent to water and talk to I noticed an alien bug on one of the girls leaves. I walked into the other room to grab my 650000 volt pink stun gun. Upon approaching the leaf, the bug had a built-in flying saucer apparatus and took off off the leaf and flew back into the tent and I have not seen it since. Is this a damaging bug.
Is anybody ever seen one do we know what planet it’s from?
Oh thank God. I would hope it wasn’t one of those nasty bugs that kill your crop or give them African shit disease.
Now that I look at it, it truly does look like a lightning bug. I guess I never just saw one that clear due to the camera. You’re pest identification skills are A+ buddy. Not to mention my stress level went from 95 down to 0.75
I do not think it’s a lightning bug. I believe it’s some sort of beetle. But, I could be totally wrong and I’m not a bug expert. No clue if it’s a bad one?
Meanwhile, Lost-Girl is running through her 4x4 tent to capture an alien bug so she can take it to a dark room and squish its guts to see if it turns yellow or green.
There is too many stripes to be a lightning bug. It looks more like what is called a potato bug in the PNW. They have larvae that burrow into the root vegetables like potatoes and yams. I don’t think it would hurt cannabis besides a little local leaf munching. The parents chew on leaves but don’t devour foliage. They are avid flyers. It would probably fly away if you left your tent open a few hours. The real harm from them is if you are growing potatoes, carrots, or yams.
I believe they leave onions and radishes alone. And hate marigolds and mums. If you have spuds or carrots outside. Overall threat to cannabis= very low.
