No trichomes on my flowering plant

I have a little lady here with nice colas but no trichomes forming on the sugar leaves. She’s in about week 5 of the flowering stage and still growing out pistoles with some turning dark should I wait a bit longer to harvest or no?

At only 5 weeks into flowering, still have some weeks to go most likely, post a pic for a better guess at when to harvest. Some strains pack on the trichs the last couple weeks of flowering, don’t want to harvest before that.

Not the only fix but Ive read good things about terpinator. I am about to try it tomorrow myself. Its an organic product. Look it up. You can also add in a high pressure sodium light to help with trichome production.

You’re only on week 5. Without pics, I speculate you have a long ways to go. I wouldn’t worry about it right now.

So about how many weeks does it usually take within the bud/ flowering stage for buds to be considered ready to harvest ?
This is my second grow in 2021 and I previously went by pistole and trichome coloration

Those are some pretty nice colas :yum: it’s hard to tell time remaining different strains develop at different rates but my first guess is 3-5 weeks. What I do is watch the pistils and once about 50-70% darken I start watching the trichomes and then it’s a preference thing from there. Amber trichomes are what you want to look for some people like a very up high so they harvest at the first sign of amber trichomes from there the more ambers the more of a couch lock high you will get. Of course the strain is what really determines the high but the trichomes do make a difference

Looks nice! All the white pistils are saying you have at least 4 weeks til harvest, 8-10 weeks in flowering is pretty normal.
