What soil are you in? I may be able to help you avoid the mistakes I’ve made :laughing:

@Kimcj I’m running groundswell performance

Oh I’m not familiar. I ask because some soils come pre-charged with nutrients and you won’t need to start feeding right away.

I use Fox Farm soil and it feeds about 3-4 weeks. Before putting a plant in I run ph water through it and test the runoff water to get the ppms.

Then as the plant gets older I will test her ppms at runoff to know when to start feeding.

@Kimcj ok thanks I think it is pre charged if I saw it right on a form here…so I’ll wait for my pen👍 and see what she is running I’ve just been using pH water

When your TDS shows up run straight water PH at 6.5 through the medium to test the run off PPMs. I would start light with the FF Trio if the soil numbers are 800 or less. I generally maintain 800-1200 PPMs when I was using soil. :love_you_gesture:

Well this “crazy queen” is coming along slowly but surely just got her second feeding…kinda just winging it right now…got a ppm reader but didn’t get a pH pen😂…I’m running 6.5-6.8 pH water before nutrients …well see how it goes for a couple days tell the pen arrives
