New tent set up. Opinions welcome

Hey guys/gals! I am about to set up a tent for the 1st time. The tent will be in a back room of an insulated garage. Not heat/ac. Will have a small heater in the back room to keep it somewhat warm in the winter. That also depends on how warm the tent stays with lights and all going.

Here’s what I have purchased.
AC Infinity 2x4 tent
AC Infinity Cloudline T6 fan w/charcoal filter
Vipar Spectra XS2000 light
6” oscillating clip fan.
Humidifier.

I have only one outdoor grow under my belt that went fairly well for the circumstances and having to keep it hidden for most of the day. What do you all think of this setup?

My main concern will be temperature when lights are off. I think cannabis can tolerate 60 degrees or so but growth will be slower and less robust.

Ditto what the @beardless one stated above. Winter’s can get pretty harsh. Your location matters a ton, but either way if you are determined to make it work, a backup plan for warmer temps maybe worth looking into.

Have you planned your medium/nutrients/water sources and the like? Indoors is a diff monster then outdoor and things like pH meters, ppm/ec/tds meters, and microbes are worth their weights in gold.

Best of luck all the same!

I will be attempting an autoflower strain. I will be using farm farms ocean forest with a pot full of happy frog in the center for sprouting/seedling stage as my soil. I will be using fox farms nutrients and used based on their feeding schedule for this grow.

Winters are generally 30 ish degrees during the day and low teens at night. I will have a heater in the room that the tent is in to help control temps. I don’t know how it would be with the heater in the tent itself.

You should probably get an ac infinity raxial fan to use as an air intake and a couple clip fans

I would suggest a radiant oil heater. No moving parts. Have to light it on fire for it to burn. Low draw. Inside the tent in corner can set to 70 range. When lights out it will keep plants toasty during winter. Small form factor so eats little space long and thin.

Worst case, you could run the lights 24 hours of you’re doing an auto. That would keep the warmth from the led. I know a grower in Canada that has to do this because of the cold.

Same advice. No lights, no movement.
In the tent or in a boxed intake manifold.
No temp worries with the 69 controller.
Good Growing to you
