Cheap small grow setup
( filter system missing but due to be added)
Cheese Auto Day 3
( I’ll remove bottle at day 5 )
Any tips or additions ? ( within a reasonable budget)

I don’t see a exhaust fan…that tent is going to get hot
Believe it or not but I’m actually having the opposite issue
I’m struggling to keep heat in
The tent is in a tool shed you see
I’m not really getting weather hotter than 24° Celsius and average temp inside the actual tent is 22° Celsius
Any economical ways to heat ?
That’s decent temperature, but I wouldn’t let it get any colder. If you have a heater to bump it up a few degrees it wouldn’t hurt.
I’m curious as to your plans for the future, space wise.
You will almost assuredly run out of space in that tent, at some point. Do you plan to move outdoors or to another indoor area?
Oh getting it off the floor won’t “fix” the temperature issue, but can help minimize the cold getting to the roots as much….any kind of riser would help with that
Suppose, while speaking of future needs, what kind of light are you using, (actual wattage usage/specs) and will it be enough to flower?
I understand that you’re on a tight budget and this light is probably the best you have, but on the other hand, it’s good to know what can be expected from its performance later down the road realistically.
You’ll have to find a balance between temp and airflow. Anywhere between 20 and 29 C is acceptable. Airflow is very important for managing humidity (and temp, if temps are high,) managing mold risk, and for CO2 replenishment.
Hey man it’s 100W light and yeah I move it outside for flower
Also thanks for the tip I’m going to try and raise it
Thanks man
Appreciate it
Do you think moving putting the tent between a washer and dryer would be a better option ?
I have a bunch of those little temp/hum monitors too. The vent for the sensor is on the back, so you might want to get it off the dirt for a more accurate read.
Should I just place it directly onto the floor ?
I need to correct something I said earlier. The temps for seedlings should be a little higher as @Covertgrower suggested. The range I cited is for mature plants.
Whatever’s comfortable. Stand it up, suspend it, lean it against the bottle or side… be creative
They’re kinda cool, in that if it’s the exact same as mine, it’s actually made to pop into a hole cut into a cabinet, etc. There’s little snap-bars on the sides that hold it in. Anyway, no need to do that, I’m just rambling…
I didn’t actually notice that before
Pretty convenient
Thanks
Would 25° C do ?
That’s about the highest I can get it to stay on right now to be honest
Yes…
