Hello everybody. Name is Errol. Chicago burbs. I’m no growing expert, but think I’m doing alright, finally. Long time vegetable gardener. Have done tons of research but always willing to learn more. Indoor only in a 5x5 tent using soil. Autos. On my 5th grow but my first 2 attempts were met with total failure (not ILGM seeds, 1st failure was spider mite infestation, 2nd was soil and light issues). So only 2 harvests. It’s been a very long and expensive road so far. However, knocked it outta the park with last 2 tho and my current. I’ll upload pics of past 2 and current grows. Tell me what you think.
After my first 2 failures, a buddy turned me on to ILGM by selling me some auto seeds he bought from here about a year ago. Couple different auto mix packs. GG4, Bruce Banner, Gelato, GSC, Banana Kush, and some Cheese. Cheese seeds wouldn’t pop for some reason. They were all old seeds tho.
I’ve grown all I got from buddy so just recently bought some Super Lemon Haze autos, and my Classic Mix Pack autos should be here hopefully Monday. Looking forward for my next grow. Impressed with ILGM.
My 1st harvest. All 3 plants were GG4 autos. Using soil and 7 gallon Airpots. Managed a 17 day dry before any bud snap. I have a killer 2x4 dry tent set up. After 2-3 weeks in some Grove bags, the flower was absolute fire. Yielded 15 ounces of dry, ready to smoke bud. Was amazed with the potency and how big the buds got. That’s a 1 quart FF bottle! Bud was literally making rookie smokers pass out. Even veteran smokers were getting the “spins” and had to sit down. I was hooked. So far, it’s my new favorite strain…lol
2nd harvest. 4 auto plants. GG4, Gelato, Bruce Banner, and Banana Kush. Same soil and pots. And again, success. The GG4 was the top performer followed by the Gelato and BB. The BK did great, but the buds weren’t as thick and dense as the other 3. All 4 were still super potent. After another 17 day dry, yielded 1.25lbs.
My current grow. 4 auto plants. 2 Gelato, a BB, and a GSC. Last of the seeds I got from buddy. I’m thinking 2-3 weeks more on the Gelato and BB. The GSC seems to be taking longer. Think I suffered some light burn having lights too close when flipping on more strips. My ight strips don’t have dimmers and with all 7 strips on I have a ppf of 2200+. Went from 4 to 6 and instantly noticed the spots. Backed it down to 5 strips and raise them some. Problem hasn’t worsened.
Anyway, I’m hopefully expecting another fairly decent harvest. I’ll keep you all posted from here on out. Any questions about my set up, don’t hesitate to ask.
My next grow. Already have the Super Lemon Haze autos and my Classic Mix Pack be here Monday. AK-47, Sour Diesel, and Super Skunk. Any info on those strains would be much appreciated. Super excited.
