RO buddy 4 stage not sure if the 4th stage is good or not for the plants.
I put this project on hold for a while and I have pretty much everything I need to begin but now my confidence is wavering due to waiting so long and taking a break from studying up. I’m planning on dropping these seeds asap so my questions are: I know I still need PH up and down (just ordered it from amazon) but should I wash and buffer canna coco coir? Does anyone have experience with it? Is it beneficial to use the extreme gardening stuff with recharge? I kinda just need all hands on deck for this one and would appreciate any insight anyone could offer. Thanks!

Is the 4th stage a mi eral filter that adds minerals back that are needed for drinking it. Ro comes stripped of everything basically so to constantly drink it would cause u to have bone issues and such the last filter on mine is a mineral filter tha5 adds minerals back. I deleted that filer because it raised the poms of the outcome water. I get 2 to 4 ppm right now with the filter I was at 10 to 14 ppm pH of the water or solution is when u mox it all up according to label ur gonna want to get a pH meter and adjust the pH according to the medium which u say is canna coco so between 5.6 to 6.2 is feasable for coco I run like 5.8 in veg and up it in flower and as it grows where in flower I’m usually feeding at close to or at 6.2is as the plants uptake nutrients better at that stage with that pH. I seen lots but nothing about pH meter or ppm meter. Unless u r going for golden globes. I myself find the ppm meter to be unnecessary but the pH meter is a def must have or issues will arise fast if not PhD correct.

If u have canna coco blocks there is no buffering needed it’s basically ready to expand and go. The mykos stuff is a plus to mix some in the pots with the coco as it will help root development. I run jacks also with canna coco. For both blocks that come as one I find it is 3 to 3.5 gallons of mix to soak it all down nice and wet so u have a bit of a start on knowing atleast 3 gallons at start if u r doing the whole block with both chunks. Lol. Canna coco is great coco to use and I find it kinda hard to mess it up unless u reuse it alot then it seems to get to point of some perlite might be needed as the fibers break down smaller and then it packs a lot tighter along the lines of how soil packs down. Ur gonna love the coco and jacks mix together. They were meant to be. Lol.

Soak coco in nutrient solution and it will be fine. Set ph properly, don’t give straight water without following with a feed, and don’t let coco dry all the way out and become hydrophobic. Also make sure you feed to a good amount of runoff.

I’m gonna be letting the autopot do it’s thing after however long it needs to establish the roots should I still water till runoff until then?
