Ok so here it is. Getting ready to start my 3rd grow. Its a rather unique one and I’m still learning so I could use some pointers. The light Im going to use is a VYPR 2p and Ive found very little info about it, especially in a grow tent setting since its a commercial grade light. I’m trying to figure out how high and how intense I need to keep the light in different stages of the grow. I built a 5x8x8 tent to put it in. I have a few different auto strains I’m germinating right now. Cheese, Sour Kush, Think Different, Sour Tangie, and Bruce Banner. Using mother earth coco perlite mix 70/30 and plan on adding Natures Living Soil. This will be my first time using either of these products so Im next to clueless as where to start. Some people say you need to start the mixture 2 weeks in advance to get the microbial life going but their site doesnt mention this. Also, should I be doing anything with the mother earth coco before I put my seeds in the pots? Says its already buffered but who knows. I’m bought a little RO machine but im using well water and it still comes out at around 400 ppm. Im still learning about TDS and EC so Im not sure if that is too much? I also heard with the Living Soil that you dont even have to measure ph when you water because it takes care of itself? sounds fishy to me.
