At 75% lighting. It bounces around a tiny bit and I’m using an app on my iPhone. So I’m not sure if it’s the best reading.
Are you measuring at the canopy?
Do you have a paper on the phone
I need a diffuser apparently to measure the light accurately on my phone
Correct the paper diffuser
Lol gotcha it worked haha. It’s high. I just turned it down to about 40% light and with the paper over the lens it’s about 800-1000 depending on where it is. At 75% light it was at like 1500-1700 lol
I had some that did something similar to the plant in the photo, especially with the leaves looking weak, droopy and curling down. They did it shortly after I transplanted them into a new pot, about the same age as yours, and after a few waterings and turning the lights down a little bit, they came back strong.
Leaves look bad on the afghan. Or legs. I did flush the afghan like 4-5 gallons. Had to get ph Down. I think run off is 6.8-6.9 ph and 600 ppm. @OGIncognito any thoughts or advice? The other one isn’t like this, It seems like it was from the flush.
Plant leaves resemble a Potassiums deficiency Grow Bro and the 6.8-6.9 PH in the medium is preventing potassium uptake, potassium deficiencies are usually accompanied by a calcium deficiency as well. Let me tag in @Budbrother for a second opinion
Yup K def.
It’s available at a wide pH range so not caused by pH. Lockout would be my guess, but just did a flush; not that. Back to needing more K and light intensity adjusted down or plant moved to shadier part.
Edit: 600 ppm - hungry
Thank you! Appreciate the quick responses! @Budbrother @OGIncognito I will raise the light up a few inches to about 20" from top. I will give her more feed soon. I want her to dry out first. Or do you think give her some K now?
I would let it hit the dry cycle then feed full strength with a PH of 6.3-6.5
SOLID PLAN!! Thanks a lot! I’ll keep you posted!
Anytime Brother
@OGIncognito
Bro, hope all is well. Been MIA starting 2 each of amnesia haze and gdp, both autos.
DJMJ’S girl seems finicky, so what would you cosider “full strength?”
@OGIncognito
I think salts were at play, to a point. He got as high as 7.3 so that’s well into K’s pH preference.
Also, I’m thinking light burn.
You know how that’ll have you chasing your tail.
I send him home with healty seedlings, so this is of great interest to me too
@OGIncognito
I’m so baked i quoted myself
Depending on your water source TDS but I would say 800-1000 PPMs
@OGIncognito
Exactly what i was thinking and advised. Do you think he flushed enough?
