I can’t dry my two girls that are ready in my tent because I have two more plants growing in there and need to have the light on so I took a free kitchen cabinet and siliconed around every seam and then put an exhaust fan with a carbon filter inside the cabinet blowing out… my only problem is it suctions the door shut so I know there’s a lot of negative pressure in there is it okay to dry like that or should I put an air intake on it also
Over engineered , you just need a cardboard box with a fan to rotate the air, heck i just use a spare closet with a fan and humidifier to regulate humidity

I would worry about drying too fast in that space. I mean it’s an awesome setup, but like others kinda said, a box with moving air. I set mine on a small clothes drying rack with an oscillating fan blowing over.
I use my bathroom to dry as its not easy to hang a 8 foot tree anywhere else in the house.
Personally you want fresh air going in and let the fan pull out all the unwanted chlorophyll smell and what not.

I grew an awesome girl closet out of a refrigerator with two LED lights an air intake with an inline fan and of course a carbon filter in an inline fan
I would. When we burp jars, its to get rid of the unwanted stuff like chlorophyll.
Some say it smells like wet hay. I’ve never experienced this.
Think of it like burping a mason jar.

Looks like overkill with the fan. Seems to me that it will dry then in a day or two if not hours. Good luck let us know the results so we can learn from this experiment. I like when people try new things. I signed as watching so no matter how long it is if you post results I should be notified.
I will definitely let you know I was just worried cuz when the fans on with the filter you can barely open the door you can feel the suction trying to close the door on you I only put the filter and fan in it because I can’t have the smell in my house and that filter and fan is amazing I grew three plants in a refrigerator with the same setup and you couldn’t smell it at all… cutting them down tonight I will keep you posted

@Mrjrcash my concern is that your potentially overworking the exhaust fan with it pulling for air so hard. I have a negative set up on my tent and the room the tent is in as well and at first it pulled my tent sides in so I had to adjust air in to a better ratio. My have a shorter life span on the exhaust unit.
I think I’m going to put another hole in it and put a small intake I do have a speed controller on the exhaust so I turned it down low but it still has quite some suction on the door …you can really feel it when you try to open the door…
While growing I had the same issue because the refrigerator I grew in was made to be sealed for the factory so it had a tight seal on that door I put a 4-in intake fan through a hole I made on the side and the bottom and it still had some negative pressure but not too much because of the air coming in so I think a little 3-in hole with a computer fan blowing air into it will help and as long as the little intake is blowing air in the scent can’t escape out of the hole

You dont need a fan pushing air in at all but you do need an intake hole. As long as the fan is on, the open hole will not let smell out as air will constantly be moving inward. I would use the hole i had the fan in now as the intake hole and add the fan in at the top. Just like a tent would be setup.
